ARRECIFE – LANZAROTE A mini-Eden with picture-postcard beaches, the Canary Islands were already known to Egyptians, Greeks and Romans. Their spectacular identity has always had an impact on visitors, which is why the historian Pliny christened them the “the Fortunate Isles”. You will be enchanted by Arrecife, the capital of Lanzarote, an attractive and peaceful port town located on the eastern side of the island. The authenticity it has retained within the Canary Islands and its natural beauty have made it popular throughout the Centuries. You will be able to see the San Gabriel Castle perched on an islet opposite the old town. The castle is a National Monument and stands proudly as if protecting the capital.

At the crossroads of Europe and Africa, Andalucia boasts an impressive artistic, historic and architectural heritage and is home to prestigious illustrations of the Arab presence in Spain. Do not miss a visit to Seville, the sublime and sulphurous capital of Andalucia, lying along the banks of the Guadalquivir. Over the Centuries, Romans, Arabs, Spaniards and Andalucians have loved and created “the most beautiful of all cities...” The result is a magical collection of architectural jewels, a tissue of streets and alleys where each beam of sunlight, each honey-coloured stone, each balcony decorated with copper globes, contributes towards the beautiful whole.
Madeira
In the footsteps of Henry the Navigator, who discovered Madeira in the 15th Century, you will explore this collection of islands. Against the backdrop of a volcanic island, with grandiose landscapes thrown up by the fires of the ocean, Madeira will reveal all its exoticism to you. Over the years it has been given a number of nicknames, and Madeira likes to be seen as “the Floating Garden“, the “Pearl of the Atlantic“ and the “Flower Island“. A terrestrial paradise of luxuriant vegetation, Madeira has become a garden island where flowering camellias, pink azaleas, bougainvillea and mimosa shed their petals on the paved streets. Here the island of Madeira is a rugged citadel, with volcanic mountains made jagged by erosion, untamed vineyards clinging to vertiginous slopes.
