This particular project is located within what is known as ‘The Brighton Golden Mile’ – Melbourne’s millionaire’s row. It is an upscale area, so particular attention was paid to every aspect of the build, the preservation of the existing façade, and the quality of fixtures and fittings throughout this residence. Exterior works included a custom swimming pool, custom metalwork and fencing, the installation of a cobblestone driveway and precise landscaping. Internally, the hero is obviously the custom Roger Seller glass kitchen with Miele appliances and imported tapware.

The Linen features a wide floor plan built around a central kitchen, family and meals area, with additional living and family zones scattered throughout the home. The breakaway theatre and lounge rooms at either end of the home offer plenty of space for everyone in the family, while the two outdoor areas – the alfresco zone and the portico – provide spaces to entertain or to sit back and relax. Apart from sheer livability, the Linen home is also functional, offering abundant storage space with a walk-in linen closet, spacious walk-in robes, a butler’s pantry and plenty of shelving.

The Mirage, featuring a contemporary Bottega façade, which includes an eclectic mix of materials such as cladding, brickwork and render, as well as a feature balcony with glazing, all adds up to a heightened element of interest. A library and living space open up beautifully from the front entrance, offering a glimpse of the family zone at the rear. Functionality is a key feature of this home, with each bedroom having its own walk-in robe and ensuite and the master suite doubling up with dual robes.
