that we believe in the all–sufficient Saviour without saying we believe in the all–sufficient Scriptures. God has told us from His Word that He knows what is in man (John 2:25). I do not know about men by studying men; I know about men by knowing God. He created men. If you have a problem with your children, you do not need to know more about your children; you need to know more of God Who made your children and gave them to you. He will reveal to you how you are to deal with your children. He teaches us through His all–sufficient Word. The Bible declares that we are to live with our wives “according to knowledge” (I Peter 3:7). We are to know them. How can we know them? If we know God better, God will teach us. He made our wives. He will teach us how we are to love them and treat them. He knows what is in them. Declaring that the Scriptures are all–sufficient is declaring that God’s Word meets every need. Go to God’s Word with your needs. The Lord gives us insight in II Timothy 3:15, “And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation.” The
