Group Size A minimum number of participants is required for each trip. If this minimum is not reached by the final payment date, you may be offered several options: pay a slightly higher program price, select another program, or receive a full refund. If Crow Canyon cancels a trip extension for which you are booked, and you elect to cancel your main trip, you are still subject to the cancellation penalties as described in this policy. Please contact us to check program status prior to making your travel arrangements.

Travel Insurance We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance. Crow Canyon does not sell travel insurance, but there are many providers that offer a variety of plans. Please visit www.insuremytrip.com or call 1.800.487.4722 to find out more and purchase a plan that meets your needs.

Off-Campus Program Accommodations Single accommodations may be available at an additional cost. We can assist you in finding a roommate; however, if we are unable to assign you a roommate, you will be charged the single supplement fee. Many trips include visits to remote or primitive areas, where physical conveniences are limited, and some lodgings are rustic.

Campus-Based Program Accommodations For all campus-based programs, we provide shared accommodations in comfortable, Navajo-style log cabins (hogans). Private rooms are not available and, depending on enrollment, couples might not be housed together. Shared, modern shower and toilet facilities are located in a separate building adjacent to the hogans. You will need to provide your own bedding and towels.

Health and Safety Your health and safety during a trip is our first concern. You must be in good physical and mental health; itineraries for each trip include details on location and difficulty of activities. If you have any doubt about your ability to participate in a Crow Canyon trip, please contact us before registering. Any physical condition requiring special attention, diet, or treatment must be reported at the time of registration. Crow Canyon reserves the right to decline acceptance of any participant based on health concerns or considerations.

Passports and Visas It is your responsibility to obtain and carry a passport if required. If a visa is required, we will send you the applicable information to secure one.

Protocol in Case of State Department Warning Crow Canyon shall be guided by the U.S. Department of State Consular Information Program in making a determination that a disturbance may substantially and/or adversely affect a program. If it is determined by Crow Canyon that travel to a country or region is not advisable, the program will be canceled and refunds of all recoverable expenditures will be issued.
