Roasted Pepitas
Ingredients ▢2 cups Pepitas raw ▢2 teaspoon Olive oil ▢1 te US aspoon salt Customary or to - Met tast ric e
Instructions 1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (176 degrees C). 2.Toss pepitas, olive oil, and salt together so well coated. Layer out your pepitas flat on a lined baking sheet (just so easy for cleanup). 3.Bake for 12-15 minutes. Set your timer for 5 minutes and toss so all sides of the pepitas get toasty. 4.Allow Pepitas to Cool and enjoy. Store in a sealed container or zipper bag at room temperature for up to a couple of days at room temperature. For storage up to a week, place in the refrigerator. You may also freeze the easy roasted pepitas. (However, we have never had these last more than a couple of days)
Air Fry Apple A-La-Mode
Ingredients 1 Apple nonstick spray and foil Cinnamon honey to taste Ice Cream of choice
Instructions 1.Core and chop 1 apple and place on aluminum foil 2.Drizzle with honey and sprinkle on cinnamon 3.Wrap foil and place in the air fryer for 13 minutes at 375 degrees 4.Top apple with ice cream of choice

FALL FESTIVAL
Hello Everyone ! ! I just wanted to say an enormous THANK YOU to everyone that came and supported our shelter residents on their carnival night . They were so incredibly excited that so many came and participated in the games that they led . Because of you all , we were able to raise . . . . drumroll . . . . $ 210 ! ! The kids were able to decide as a group what they want to do with the money that they raised , and they decided to go to Get Air Trampoline Park ! They went this past Friday and have their own party room with pizza and drinks . They were so excited to go , We cannot thank you all enough for helping us make this happen , it made their entire weekend . Have an incredible week !

I NEVER "FELT" BETTER

On Saturday , November 13 , the counseling team lead a group on ways to deal with feelings and emotions by providing some crafting secrets . Participants made felt friends using the wool needle felting technique . The team provided tips to deal with stress and learn how to channel frustrations towards something creative . Needle Felting
