Language Learning Tips:
Spanish books and CD’s are easily found at the public library (indicated by a red label on the cover).
Many of your favorite movies have multi-language spoken tracks and subtitles. Turn on one or both for an extra challenge!
Many of the larger bookstores have a section on multi-language books for children and adults.
Many apps are now available for learning other languages. Our favorites are E -Flash Spanish and Learn Spanish in a Month.

Continuing Education Opportunity
Dr. Cristina Reyes Smith of Vida Bella Services, LLC will provide a one hour Continuing Education Session on "Common Spanish and Sign Language for Pediatric Practice." Our Alegría Dance Program for Spanish-speaking children with special needs was recently featured in the Medical University of SC Catalyst Newspaper. This program involved over 100 participants and provided families with health education materials, connection with community resources, and strategies for interacting with children with special needs.
