SPORTS VOUCHER PROGRAMS Season 2016-17 saw more than 1192 participants utilise Sports Vouchers. Sports Vouchers assist many of the drought-affected communities in regional Victoria, and provide support for first-time cricketers in junior cricket, girls competitions, MILO in2CRICKET or MILO T20 Blast.

Partnerships with local government increased from seven (2015-16) to 15 this year. Thank you to our 2016-17 partners: Brimbank City Council, Maribyrnong City Council, City of Casey, City of Greater Dandenong, Hume City Council, Central Goldfields Shire Council, Frankston City Council, Horsham Rural City Council, Buloke Shire Council, Yarriambiack Shire Council, Greater Shepparton City Council, Loddon Shire Council, Shire of Glenelg, Northern Grampians Shire Council and Gannawarra Shire Council.

The program is a continuation of the Community Program: On Common Ground project, a strategy by Cricket Victoria, Cricket Australia and the Victorian Government to remove the barrier of player registration fees.
