Nothing beats the excitement of planning a getaway. Nothing beats an escape to instant summer. Nothing beats time off work, time with the family, time to reflect, or time to relax. Nothing beats a holiday. Nothing beats a Creative Holiday.

The travel agents’ travel agent Ever wondered where travel agents get their advice? Well, now you know. We’ve been sending Aussies overseas for more than 30 years. Working behind the scenes, we’ve helped travel agents all over the nation plan and secure the very best holidays for hundreds of thousands of Aussie travellers. In other words, we’re more than just a fly and drop service. Once you arrive, we won’t leave you stranded – it’s just not the Creative way. We’re on the ground, finding out everything from who makes the best-tasting coffee and Brooklyn bagels, to which New York hot spots are buzzing round the clock, where to keep the family entertained and how to book an intimate lunch with Mickey Mouse.

ANY QUESTIONS? JUST ASK. Think of us like an expert guide; a worldly big brother, with insider tips. We know the ins and outs of where you’re going, and we’re happy to help whenever you need it. From the moment you jet off to the time you get home, we’re the ultimate travel companion.

So do we, and that’s why we have real life people to help you 100% of the time. From the Creative Holidays team, to our travel agent partners, we know where you’re going, we know why you’re going, and we’re happy to sort out any issues along the way. With a 24-hour on-call service available, this means smooth sailing every day of your trip. It sure beats talking to a laptop!

With over 4000 staff and one million customers a year, we are committed to exceptional service and personalised hospitality – no matter who you are, where you’ve come from, or where you’re going. We hire and retain the very best professionals in the industry and provide them with continuous training. No guest is just a number, and no staff member is just an employee. They’re the reason we’re in business. With a company mantra of “yes I can”, we believe in going beyond your expectations. When you live and breathe travel, it’s easy to achieve.

public relations superstar for The Travel Corporation. I NEVER HOP ON A PLANE WITHOUT MY moisturising facial mist, headphones and eye mask AND IN MY SUITCASE YOU’LL ALWAYS FIND a large collection of outfits perfect for any occasion, a hairdryer and a ridiculous amount of beauty products. I CAN’T WATCH OR LISTEN TO any music by Swedish House Mafia AND NOT BE INSPIRED TO TRAVEL anywhere that the party doesn’t stop! I RECENTLY TRAVELLED TO Las Vegas WITH

CREATIVE HOLIDAYS. IF I COULD ENCOURAGE YOU TO DO THREE THINGS THERE IT WOULD BE: Buy a pass for the hop-on hop-off buses AND go

on a shopping spree at Las Vegas Premium Outlets North AND party all night at Marquee (it’s open till 5am). DON’T LEAVE WITHOUT EATING Mike and Ike lollies AND DRINKING a frozen cocktail from a yard glass. I STAYED AT The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas AND IT WAS beyond amazing! THE BEST SOUVENIR I BOUGHT WAS a Ralph Lauren blazer FOR myself. TO FIND OUT ABOUT USA HOLIDAYS, VISIT creativeholidays.com.

Reasons to visit the USA ... WE’VE BEEN SENDING AUSSIES OVERSEAS FOR MORE THAN 30 YEARS, SO WHATEVER YOU’RE INTO, WE’LL HELP YOU FIND IT IN THE USA. Whatever your taste or budget, you’re guaranteed to have the time of your life. Navigate spectacular hiking trails, explore breathtaking canyons, scuba dive in tropical surrounds or go horseriding on a dusty southern ranch. If you’re into music, trace the origins of blues, jazz and rock ‘n’ roll in Louisiana and Tennessee, or dance all night to Latino beats in a Florida nightclub. Oh, and then there’s the history. From the paved streets of Boston to the winding trails of Texas, there’s so much to see and learn. Of course, simply eating your way across dozens of states is also perfectly acceptable. This is America, and you’re free to do as you please.

Hot tip

8 — USA

Tipping is a fundamental part of American culture. For food and drink service, tip 15-20% of your total bill. For everything else, a couple of dollar bills should do the trick.

Relive history A trip to a country with such a rich history wouldn’t be complete without a stop at some of its countless historical sites. Retrace the steps of American revolutionaries on the Freedom Trail in Boston, visit the hometown of the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, pay tribute to the African-American Civil Rights Movement with a trip to Martin Luther King Jr.’s family home, and relive man’s first steps on the moon at the Kennedy Space Centre.

Shopping galore If you’re coming with the intention of filling an empty suitcase, you’ll be astounded by the variety of choice in the United States. From the vintage markets and design boutiques in Seattle, to the mega department stores and high-end labels of New York, there’s something to satisfy every budget and taste. Even the tacky souvenir shops are world-class!

Discover more about the USA at creativeholidays.com

Magnificent scenery Grand canyons, endless prairies, snow-capped mountains, desert ranges and lush forests – this country has everything covered. You want a cactus forest? America will deliver. Of course the cities also have their fair share of beauty. The majestic San Francisco harbour, the sparkling Manhattan skyline, Chicago’s clean, green contours and Boston’s cobbled streets are all just as postcard perfect.

5 ESSENTIAL AMERICAN EXPERIENCES: More American than apple pie, these five experiences are a must for anyone wanting to truly understand the nation of french fries, rock ‘n’ roll and sweet southern hospitality.

Catch a yellow cab in New York There are few things that say ‘New York’ more than a yellow taxicab – so don’t leave the Big Apple without hailing one! With initiatives underway to slowly replace the classic style, now’s certainly the time to do it.

Boot scoot in Texas Grab your cowboy boots and go line dancing in Texas. Worried you’ve got two left feet? Plenty of places offer lessons and the Texans are famous for their friendly ‘Southern hospitality’.

Family amusement

Stop by a roadside diner

Disneyland Park, Walt Disney World Resort, Gatorland, SeaWorld, Legoland – in other words, more ‘lands’ and ‘worlds’ than you can poke a hotdog at. America knows about manufactured amusement, and if you’re travelling with a family, it’s worthwhile checking out at least one of the theme parks. The parks may be designed as a kid’s wonderland but they’re just as good at entertaining adults as well!

Make like Thelma and Louise and eat at a roadside diner. Road tripping is such an intrinsic part of the American psyche that there are plenty of highway diners set up for hungry drivers.

Go rollerblading in Miami

Food, glorious food Bagels in Brooklyn, tacos in San Diego, pork ribs in Memphis, Texan fried chicken, organic almond milk lattes in Seattle, clam chowder in Boston, shrimp gumbo soup in New Orleans and lobster in Florida so fresh it may wander off your plate. We could go on. Don’t be fooled into thinking that America is all fast food restaurants and donut franchises; the variety of cuisine there is incredible.

There’s few times in your life when rollerblading in minimal clothing is appropriate. A trip to Miami is one of them. So strip down, bronze up and go blading down Ocean Drive.

Eat ribs in Memphis Memphis is the city known for ‘Elvis, blues and barbeque’, so it wouldn’t feel right to go home without devouring some barbeque ribs!

America’s best road trips Rain Man, Thelma & Louise, Little Miss Sunshine… American road trip films have made an indelible mark on pop culture history, so what better way to experience this spectacular, vast country than by emulating the adventures of the big screen? Load up the rental, brush up on your car games and hit the road for an unforgettable trip.

To get you inspired, here’s our three favourite road trips:

PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY Los Angeles to San Francisco Distance: 416 miles (669 kilometres) Jump on the Pacific Coast Highway in Los Angeles and drive the incredible coastal stretch of cliff-hugging road all the way to San Francisco. You’ll pass charming beach towns and state parks along the way. Stop and watch the surfers catching waves in Malibu, and visit Santa Barbara, where you might be lucky enough to see some whales.

Visit Hearst Castle on Hot California’s Central tip Coast – it’s the former home of newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst, and is now maintained as a state historic park. Step back in time and relive one of the most decadent chapters in American history on a guided tour of the mansion. For more information on car hire and road trips, visit creativeholidays.com

Many a song and film has been inspired by Route 66, the iconic road linking Chicago and Los Angeles. While the entire route stretches for over 2000 miles, driving the Arizona section (from Needles, California to the New Mexico border) gives road trippers a taste for what made the Route so famous. Las Vegas Welcome to fabulous Las Vegas – land of excess. Where Cleopatra dines with Elvis Presley and dazzling showgirls dance under the Eiffel Tower to the click-click of tourist cameras. One thing is for sure: everyone’s here to have a good time. From lavish casinos and America’s own Ancient Rome, to the sense-smacking colours and sounds of The Strip, you’re in for the ride of your life. So bask in the bright lights, mingle with the high rollers, or get married at the Graceland Chapel. This is a 24hour city, so you may as well pack in as much as possible.

THINGS TO KNOW: Lingo to know: “Eye in the Sky” The double-sided mirrors and hidden cameras casinos use to monitor the floor.

Local Tips: • Head to the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace and request a seat on the patio at Spago for some good old-fashioned people watching. • Stop by the Bellagio Hotel after dark for the fountain display and watch the water move like magic to Michael Jackson’s ‘Billie Jean’. • Not a blackjack wizard? Most casinos offer lessons for the unseasoned gambler.

What to Pack: Your poker face.

National Parks The United States has over 400 national parks, and while each is a national treasure, the most fascinating are found in the southwest. From the striking red rock landscape of Utah to the vast wilderness of Arizona, the natural beauty of this region is second to none.

Grand Canyon The mother of all national parks, Grand Canyon National Park is breathtaking in its scale and beauty. Often considered one of the seven wonders of the world, the Canyon itself is 277 miles (446 kilometres) long, 18 miles (29 kilometres) wide and 6000 feet (1800 metres) deep – and attracts millions of visitors each year. The park boasts a breathtaking array of rock landscapes, desert flora, pine forests and grasslands, but the heart and soul is of course the Colorado River, which winds its way through the Canyon. One thing is certain: the sheer immensity of this natural wonder will carve itself into your memory like few other landscapes can. 28 — USA

THINGS TO KNOW: Local Tips: • There’s nothing quite like watching the sunset from Grandview Point, a vantage spot along Desert View Drive on the South Rim. The historic Grandview Trail also begins here. • Visit the North Rim for cooler temperatures and interesting scenery. You’ll find wildflower meadows, subalpine grasslands and pine forests that you won’t see anywhere else in the park.

Bryce Canyon Hoodoos; tent rocks; fairy chimneys; earth pyramids. Call them what you will, they’re strikingly beautiful, and abundant in southwestern Utah’s Bryce Canyon National Park. Loved by photographers and geology enthusiasts alike, the park features a veritable forest of these curious red rock formations. And besides being visually spectacular from above – especially at sunrise – down below the hoodoos’ mazelike passageways make for a thrilling hiking destination. Or, as famously quoted by the canyon’s namesake, Ebenezer Bryce “one hell of a place to lose a cow.”

THINGS TO KNOW: Local Tips: • In winter, Bryce Canyon’s snow-capped hoodoos make for a real winter wonderland. The best part? Snowmobiling through its winding trails. • Looking down upon the canyon’s beauty is a given. But wander out at night-time and look up – with zero light pollution it’s a legendary spot for star-gazing.

Zion An enchanting beauty, the landscape of southern Utah’s Zion National Park is awe inspiring. Soaring red and cream cliffs, emerald grottos and lush meadows combine to magical effect. Hike through one of Zion’s storied trails and know you’ll be walking in the footsteps of ancient natives, who almost 12,000 years ago tracked mammoths and giant sloths along the winding red roads. These days, you’re more likely to spot an anxious plateau lizard or grazing deer, but fret not, the soaring cliffs of Zion are marvellous enough.

THINGS TO KNOW: Local Tips: • Looking for a challenging hike? Angels Landing is strenuous, but rewarding - it’s one of the best viewpoints of the park. (Note: those scared of heights should steer clear of this one.) • Subway is one of the least technical and most visually spectacular canyons to explore. Make sure you reserve a permit before your trip - they can sell out months in advance.

Nowhere does serenity quite like San Diego. Known for its mild weather and character, this is the perfect holiday destination for doing, well, nothing at all. Winter is basically non-existent, so this city is all about sun, sand, waves and good times. And when you have sufficiently ‘chilled’, there are plenty of galleries, restaurants and recreational activities to explore. From hang gliding over spectacular coastal cliffs to lazy brunches in the sunshine at La Jolla – there’s something to cater for every traveller taste.

San Fransisco Ah, San Francisco. That majestic City by the Bay, a collection of neighbourhoods and microclimates so diverse you’ll be forgiven for thinking you have stepped into another time, place and season from one block to the next. Built on 48 hills, San Francisco’s crooked streets and contours are as seductive as its technological smarts. And with all those charming wharves and beatnik boroughs, it’s easy to see why locals still call theirs the Golden City.

THINGS TO KNOW: Lingo to know: “Single drip” is coffee, San Francisco style. The beans are ground and brewed for each individual cup.

Local Tips: • The Japanese Tea Gardens in Golden Gate Park are especially beautiful during the spring – try to get there for cherry blossom season. • Fillmore Street is one of the best shopping destinations, with upscale boutiques, quaint bookstores and eateries galore. • On a clear day, make your way up to Twin Peaks at dusk for panoramic views of the city. Take a jacket; it can be quite windy.

What to Pack: A good pair of trainers.

Salisbury Hotel Sheraton New YorkTimes Square Sonesta Philadelphia The Plaza The Standard East Village The Surrey The Westin New York at Times Square

New York New York, New York. The concrete jungle where dreams are made. There’s a reason millions of travellers flock to this sparkling, pulsating city every year: people burn brighter here, despite the fabled lack of sleep, and the list of things to see and do is mindboggling. Watch the city light up as the sun goes down from the Top of the Rock, marvel at the bright lights of Broadway, dream a little dream at a 3am jazz jam in the West Village, and watch the sunrise over the Manhattan skyline from Brooklyn Heights Promenade. You can always sleep on the way back home.

THINGS TO KNOW: Lingo to know: “Gypsy cabs” are the non-yellow and more expensive variety of taxi. Probably best to avoid these.

Local Tips: • A stroll along the High Line in Chelsea is a highlight. It’s a mile-long park built on an old elevated railroad. Food lovers will enjoy the nearby Chelsea Markets. • If you want to hear some jazz, check out Mona’s – a great little dive bar in the East Village. Head there on a Tuesday for the ragtime jam session. • If the chaotic energy is all too much, spend an afternoon in Central Park. The scenery is breathtaking.

Marble, museums and memorials: three things you’ll find plenty of in America’s fine capital. From the Smithsonian to the National Mall, never has so much culture and history been packed into one little city. But there are two sides to this aesthetic and intellectual beauty. From the manicured lawns of Capitol Hill to the Ethiopian eating houses of the Northwest quadrant, Washington D.C. is a city of contrast, and it’s worth leaving the museum trail to explore some of the city’s real personality.

Welcome to Florida’s tropical concrete paradise, where models mingle with magnates and Art Deco architecture bejewels the city streets. Everything’s steamy in the Magic City, the most Latin-influenced in the country – and between the peach stucco and the evening neon you’ll be forgiven for thinking you’re on the set of some kind of 1980s crime show. Nashville is the heart of the nation’s country music industry – but even those unacquainted with the genre will enjoy a trip to Music City. Once known as the ‘Athens of the South’ for its superior education systems, it still boasts a lively university community and an impressive statue of Athena in Centennial Park. Of course your holiday wouldn’t be complete without a trip to the Country Music Hall of Fame. When you’re done with that, indulge in some fried chicken then burn it off on one of the area’s fine walking trails. Are you ready, boots? See hotel features grid on page 87

THINGS TO KNOW: Lingo to know: “Sweet tea” is iced tea, and you’re going to want some in this heat.

Local Tips: • Pay tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King at the National Civic Rights Museum in the historic arts district of downtown Memphis. • Taste the world’s best fried chicken at Gus’s World Famous Hot & Spicy Chicken. It’s a little piece of deep-fried heaven. • Stop by Shelby Farms Stables for a day of horse riding and deer spotting along rolling green hills.

Memphis

What to Pack:

Make a musical pilgrimage to the birthplace of American soul and rock ‘n’ roll.

Memphis, Tennessee – the name is synonymous with music. Visit Elvis Presley’s famous Graceland mansion, and walk in the footsteps of Johnny Cash along bustling Beale Street. Old-fashioned southern hospitality, warm weather and great nightlife make this Tennessee city an American favourite. But if that’s not enough to charm you, there’s the food – Memphis is known as the Barbecued Pork Capital of the World, and you’ll find famously good ribs around every corner. Booking Conditions Important Information The www.creativeholidays.com website (the “Site”) is owned and operated by Creative Tours Pty Ltd (ABN 23 003 286 459) trading as Creative Holidays. In these booking terms and conditions the expressions “Company”, “Creative Tours”, “Creative Holidays”, “we”, “our” or “us” include Creative Tours Pty Ltd and entities that assist or participate with Creative Tours Pty Ltd in the provision of the services it agrees to provide (where the context permits, including its and their employees and agents) and the expressions “you”, “your”, “client” or the “passenger” include a person seeking or requiring the services offered by Creative Tours, all other persons (if any) included with that person in the booking and that person’s or those persons’ travel agent (if any). TRAVEL PRODUCTS AND AVAILABILITY Creative Tours arranges bookings, ticketing and other ancillary services of and related to travel and accommodation including but not limited to, air travel, transfers, car hire and leisure activities (“Travel Products”). Creative Tours is neither a common carrier nor a private carrier, and does not itself provide any of the Travel Products described in its brochures or on the Site. Creative Tours acts as your agent in making the arrangements with third party suppliers, who provide the Travel Products to you as principals (“Suppliers”), and is not the agent of any such Supplier. By booking any Travel Products, you (if booking directly or through a travel agent) and your travel agent on your behalf (if booking through a travel agent) acknowledge and confirm that you have read our booking terms and conditions, that you accept them without reservation as constituting the entire agreement between you and us which cannot be varied other than by an officer of the Company in writing. Bookings of all Travel Products we arrange are provided by Suppliers we believe to be reputable and to operate in accordance with the standards set down by their own local authorities. Those Travel Products are provided subject to those Suppliers’ terms, conditions and limitations (some of which may exclude or limit liability in respect of death, injury, delay, loss or damage to person and/or effects) and we accept no responsibility for them nor do we make or give any warranty or representation as to their standard, quality or fitness for any particular purpose. Any legal recourse you may have in respect of those Travel Products is against those Suppliers and not against us. We recommend all passengers take out adequate travel insurance for the duration of their travel. All Travel Products shown in our brochures and on the Site may be booked, subject to availability at the time of booking. QUOTES AND PRICES We endeavour to ensure the accuracy and currency of all prices displayed in our brochures and on the Site. Prices are: • specified in the currency stated in the brochure or on the relevant page of the Site (generally either in Australian dollars or New Zealand dollars) and are subject to change without notice; • indicative only and subject to change until all of your booking details have been provided to us and we have confirmed your booking; and • for the number of persons or items on the conditions stated in the brochure or on the relevant page of the Site, including but not limited to any hover box. “From” Prices: The expression “from” with respect to a price means the lowest price for the Travel Product we believe is available at the time of publication, based on information we have received from Suppliers. Itineraries and Quotes: You may build an itinerary on the Site and obtain a quote from the Site or by contacting our Call Centre or through a travel agent. Any quote is an estimate only of the current price and subject to change until a booking is confirmed and you receive a unique Creative Tours booking number or, if a quote for an airfare, until it is paid and ticketed. Payment terms are subject to individual Supplier requirements and will be advised at the time of booking. Taxes, Charges and Currency Fluctuation: Government taxes and charges imposed by Suppliers or third parties (including ticketing fees and airline fuel surcharges) are subject to change. If there are any increases in such taxes, charges or Supplier rates or any currency fluctuation which increase the price of your booking, we reserve the right to change the price you must pay by including the additional charges or amount (together with any applicable service fee and GST) at any time prior to and including the date of your departure, even if we have received full payment from you. We will notify you of any such price changes that result in your travel arrangements being materially different from those prior to the change being effected and in respect of which we have already accepted your deposit or full payment. If so, and you do not wish to alter your travel arrangements, you may cancel them and monies you have already paid, less any charges levied by Suppliers, will be refunded. Any refund will be calculated at the currency exchange rate that applied when the booking was confirmed. Errors: We reserve the right to correct any errors in fees, charges, rates or prices quoted or billed, even if we have received full payment from you.

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED IN THE HOLIDAY PRICE The price does not include airfares (unless otherwise stated), passport and visa fees, insurance, laundry, phone calls, beverages, meals not detailed in the itinerary, tips to tour guides, motor coach drivers and local city guides, items of a personal nature, excess baggage, expenses, fees or costs incurred in case of illness, or of refusal of entry to, detention in, or expulsion or repatriation from a country or part of a country. We are not liable for any expense, costs or loss incurred in relation to such matters and you release us from all liability, damages or responsibility in relation to them. PAYMENT Method: Payment for all Travel Product bookings made via the Site must be by Credit Card (American Express, Visa or MasterCard) or PayPal. You must provide us with all the required details of your Credit Card or PayPal account. For Credit Cards a fee of up to 2% of the total cost of the booking will be applied at time of payment. Terms: Depending on the Supplier’s terms and conditions of booking, you may be able to hold a Travel Product without payment, pay a deposit for it or you may be required to make an immediate payment in full. • Hold – You will be notified whether a Travel Product may be held and the period it may be held. If held, you must pay a deposit or full payment in accordance with these terms and conditions and the notification (generally within 5 days of it being held, unless your date of travel is less than 10 days from notification). • Deposit – Unless otherwise notified you must pay a deposit to secure the booking. The deposit is a minimum of $165 per person, together with any prepayment specified by the relevant Supplier. You must pay the balance of the price at least 10 days prior to the earliest travel date or earlier if we or the relevant Supplier so specify. • Immediate payment – You will be notified if any Travel Product within a booking requires immediate payment in full. You must make that payment immediately to secure the Travel Product at the notified price. If you fail to make any required payment outlined above, your booking is automatically cancelled unless we notify you otherwise in writing. A travel agent who makes a booking at your request is your agent and is not the Company’s agent for the purpose of receipt of the deposit or any part of the price. CREATIVE CLUB Except during peak seasons (such as Christmas-New Year), for special events (such as cultural or sporting events) and other “black out” periods nominated by a Supplier, the following benefits apply to any Travel Product identified with our “Creative Club” logo: Price Match Guarantee: Except for bonus offers and inclusions offered by a Supplier exclusively to a third party, we will match our gross price to a third party’s gross price for a Travel Product if: • it is based on the same currency as our quote or the offer on our Site (i.e. Australian or New Zealand dollars); • the third party’s Travel Product (including any bonus offers, added value or inclusions) and ours are identical; • you provide us with the third party’s written quote, which indicates its availability at the time of the price match in the country of the currency you require the price matched; • you have not booked that Travel Product; • the Travel Product has not previously been price matched; and • you pay for the Travel Product in full when we have matched the price. Added Value Bonuses and Special Upgrade Offers: Subject to availability and to these terms and conditions, we will use reasonable endeavours to ensure you receive the added value bonuses and upgrade offers referred to in the description of Travel Products identified with our “Creative Club” logo. We may, at our sole discretion, withdraw any added value bonus or upgrade offer for any reason and at any time. CANCELLATIONS, AMENDMENTS, REISSUES AND REFUNDS If we are entitled to cancel the booking of any Travel Product and we cancel it or if you cancel it (unless these terms and conditions otherwise specify) the following applies: Cancellation after Deposit is Paid: • You must pay any Supplier/airline cancellation fees. • Your deposit ($165 per person) will be available to apply to the cost of other Travel Products for 90 days after the date of cancellation and, if not so applied, will thereupon be forfeit to us. Cancellation after Full Payment: • You must pay any Supplier/airline cancellation fees. • There is no refund of or credit for the deposit. • We will return to you any amount refunded to us by the Supplier. Amendments to a Booking: We may accept or

reject a request for amendment to a booking of Travel Products in our absolute discretion. If we amend a confirmed booking, it may be repriced and you are liable for any resulting price change, including any cancellation fees imposed by the Supplier. You must pay us an amendment fee of $55 for each amendment, being a genuine pre estimate of the reasonable cost of administrative expenses we incur in amending the booking. Refunds: After your travel has commenced, there can be no refund in respect of any Travel Products not utilised whether by choice or because of late arrival or early departure, including failure of any transport to operate according to schedule. Employees of any Supplier are not authorised by us to give any undertakings in respect of refunds or other matters. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITIES We arrange the provision of Travel Products which are provided by Suppliers. We do not ourselves provide the Travel Products you may receive on your holiday. Suppliers Terms and Conditions: Supply of the Travel Products is made, and all itineraries, coupons and exchange orders (collectively “vouchers”) are issued to you, upon the Supplier’s terms and conditions that are then in use, including as to the applicable laws, requirements and policies of any government authority related to, among others, visas, entry, exit or transfer requirements. Your acceptance of the vouchers constitutes those terms and conditions as the entire agreement between you and the relevant Supplier and you bear all costs or losses incurred as a consequence of your failure to comply with them. Exclusion of Liability: In the absence of our negligence, we are not liable for any cancellations, diversions, substitution of equipment, variations, postponements or any other act, omission or default (whether negligent or otherwise) of any Supplier nor are we liable for any loss or damage to baggage or property, injury, illness or death, or any other loss (including consequential loss) damage or claim whatsoever arising from the act, error, omission, default or negligence of any person not our direct employee or under our exclusive control. We are not responsible for any criminal conduct of any third party. Where a motor coach seat is fitted with a safety belt, neither we nor any Supplier concerned will be liable for death, injury, or any loss or damage whatsoever you suffer from any accident or incident if you are not wearing the safety belt at the time of such accident or incident. We are not liable for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience caused by your acts, omissions or defaults, your state of health, medical condition or circumstances or other reasons which are beyond our control, including force majeure events or failure of equipment or machinery. Warranties: To the extent permitted by law, all express and implied warranties, guarantees, representations or terms are expressly excluded. Where the law implies any warranty guarantee or condition which cannot be excluded, our liability to you for breach thereof is limited to supplying the services again or payment of the cost of having the services supplied again. Maximum Liability: Despite any other provision of these terms and conditions, to the extent permitted by law, our maximum liability to you or any third party is limited to the price you have paid us for the booking. Holiday Variations: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule departures and itineraries if required by circumstances beyond our control. Where it is necessary to change a hotel we will endeavour to substitute accommodation of no lesser standard. Insurance: We recommend you purchase travel insurance against forfeiture of payment, loss of deposits, cancellation charges, baggage loss, medical expenses, theft and other contingencies. We make no representations as to what you may recover under any insurance. You agree not to hold us responsible for any decision of insurers, and/or any Supplier, or the requirements of any foreign government authority, foreign law or policy. Passport Checks: You must ensure names used to make a booking are exactly as appear in passports. Any name/initial or spelling changes made after booking confirmation may result in Supplier imposed fees and/or you being unable to travel. Passports, Visa, Vaccinations and Baggage: A visa does not guarantee you entry to, or permission to remain in, a country. Some countries may refuse entry or may detain, expel or repatriate you because of your state of health, medical condition or other reasons. You are responsible for all visas, entry, health and other requirements and all documents required by the laws, regulations, orders and/or requirements of countries you intend to visit. You should check the requirements of those countries with their embassies or consulates or other authorities. We accept no responsibility if you are refused entry into any country you intend to visit and you release us from all damages, expenses, costs, liabilities or loss you incur in relation to such matters. To ensure the safety of yourself and others, it may be

necessary for us to disclose details of your health or medical condition to Suppliers. You authorise us to make such disclosure and you agree that our doing so is not a breach of confidence or duty and that you will not hold us liable in tort, in contract or under any privacy or anti-discrimination laws. OTHER CONDITIONS Brochure and Site Accuracy: We endeavour to ensure that the brochure is accurate at the time of publication and that the Site is and remains accurate at all times. However, we cannot be held responsible for printing or typographical errors or errors arising from unforeseen circumstances. Hotel Locations and Descriptions: Maps in our brochures and on the Site are provided only as a guide to locations and maps on the Site are powered by Google maps. Hotel descriptions featured are based on current international hotel guides and information provided by hotels and Suppliers. Descriptions are provided as guidelines only and any facilities shown as included are subject to change at any time. Hotel room photographs may not be specific to rooms booked. Hotel Check-In: To guarantee charges for incidental items, Suppliers require validation of a current credit card upon check-in.
