A Blast from the Past As we celebrate the Club’s 60th year we thought it would be interesting to share some photos from our past, showcasing the the many famous stars who were often found on the golf course back when Fort Lauderdale was a sleepy little beach town.

This issue’s photo is contributed by Jack Drury, Member of CRCC for over 50 years and author of the book Fort Lauderdale Playground of the Stars which is a pictorial peek at celebs who flocked to Fort Lauderdale decades ago. Mr. Drury was a local PR guru from NYC who documented his star-studded life with photographs snapped at promotional events.
