It is fitting that the Gates Mills home of Pat Mullin, the retired managing partner of the Cleveland office of Deloitte, was crafted with fine woodworking. Murals, too, abound in the home, including some scenes of one particular sport in his office and intricate vines and trees in other rooms. But as neat as the painted walls of his lower level are, they are nowhere near the reason why this lower level was one Crain’s House Calls had to see.
