Eskrima, also known as Arnis or Kali, is the national sport and martial art of the Phillppines. The martial art involves fighting with sticks, knives, bladed weapons, and even unarmed combat. The art evolved during the Spanish occupation, as technique was passed down in secret, and often disguised as dances.
