The CPA Saskatchewan Scholarship Fund Inc. (the Fund) is an affiliated, but independent entity to CPA Saskatchewan. All CPA Saskatchewan members are members of the Fund. The purposes of the Fund are: • To provide scholarships, bursaries or grants to those enrolled in the CPA educational program. • To assist recipients in the continuation of their course of studies in Saskatchewan leading to the

CPA professional designation. • To promote higher education by providing bursaries, scholarships and grants to qualified students. The Fund is primarily supported by donations, and it is a registered charity through the Canada Revenue Agency. It is these donations that will allow the Fund to assist and support students and candidates in achieving their dreams of becoming Chartered Professional Accountants. In February, the Scholarship Fund Board approved two scholarships and a bursary from applications received in 2021. One of the recipients is Agnese Vilde from Swift Current, who was excited to be awarded a bursary. She said: “I would like to thank the CPA SK Scholarship Fund for your continuous support in my journey towards CPA. At times of financial uncertainty, your bursary encouraged me to keep going and not give up even when life got too busy with work, studying and being a mom to my 3 children. I will be starting my third PEP module - Audit elective- in May. I have been looking forward to this module as it is my chosen specialization at the moment and my goal is to write the CFE in September of 2023.” Congratulations Agnese. NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF MEMBERS

CPA SASKATCHEWAN SCHOLARSHIP FUND INC. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual General Meeting of the members of CPA Saskatchewan Scholarship Fund Inc. will be held on the 15th day of June 2022, at the hour of 7:00 pm, at the Delta Hotel by Marriott Regina. Information to be presented includes the Annual Financial Statements and a summary of activities for the year. A full agenda and a copy of the Annual Financial Statements have been posted on the CPA SK website under Become a CPA/Scholarship Fund.

TO REGISTER FOR THE 2022 SCHOLARSHIP FUND AGM

All members attending the Scholarship Fund AGM on June 15 must register online. There is no charge to attend the in-person AGM only, however registration is required. Please register at cpask.ca by June 10, 2022.
