CPA SK VIRTUAL CONVOCATION HELD MARCH 19!

Congratulations!

CPA Saskatchewan proudly celebrated the achievements of 150 successful CFE writers from May and September 2021 with a virtual, pre-recorded event, where graduates participating were presented and celebrated by members of the profession.

Yuen Ip, CPA, CMA Richard Olfert, FCPA, FCA Carrie Carson, CPA, CA The celebration video began with speeches from the invited guests: Yuen Ip, CPA, CMA, CEO, CPA Western School of Business, who delivered the Invocation; Richard Olfert, FCPA, FCA, Chair of the Board, CPA Canada gave the Message to Graduates; and Carrie Carson, CPA, CA, Board Chair, CPA Saskatchewan, delivered the Convocation Address.

Five graduates from Saskatchewan were named to the CPA Canada Honour Roll and received certificates to acknowledge their achievements. Congratulations to:

The MC for the ceremony, Shelley Thiel, FCPA, FCA, CEO of CPA Saskatchewan, stressed the importance of recognizing those who have supported our graduates. With that in mind, four of our graduates – Sarah Garden, Owen Kot, Rianne Morrow and Alex Parsley – recorded videos to share their thanks to Educators, Families, Mentors and Employers. The celebration video ends with the Valedictory Address, delivered by Joshua Stranden. The 2022 Convocation video link has been posted on our website.
