The 2021 National Holstein Convention Sale took place on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at the West Lampeter Fairgrounds in Lancaster, PA. The sale featured live lots, genomic lots, and choice lots. The sale averaged $13,650 on 101 lots with a total gross of $1,378,650. 34 genomic lots averaged $27,793, 52 live lots averaged $6,525, and 15 choice lots averaged $6,293. Lot 7G was the high seller of the sale at $80,000, an IVF session from Winstar Heroic 6428-ET at +3007 GTPI +924NM$ +980CM$. The session was consigned by Winstar Genetics, ID and purchased by Select Sires. The second high selling genomic animal was lot 3G, Shannon Try Me 1046-ET at $77,500. She is a 12/20 Try Me daughter at +2991 GTPI and +905CM$. Consigned by Shannon Hutterian Bretheren, SD and purchased by ABS Global, WI. Lot 2G, Sheland Parfect Daybreak-ET sold for $55,000. Daybreak is a 3/21 Parfect at +3008 GTPI. She also has a deep pedigree behind her with 13 VG or EX dams. Consigned by Sheland Farms, NY and purchased by Semex, WI.

Success is an understatement when talking about the JM Valley Holsteins recent sale! With 81 lots, the sale averaged $11,406! A huge congratulations to JM Valley Holsteins, Mireille Lavoie & Joël Lepage! High Seller of the day was Lot 1, JM Valley Sidekick Lady VG-88-2yr (MAX). Lady sold for $210,000 and is a daughter of show-ring favorite and the 2020 Holstein Canada Cow of the Year, Idee Windbrook Lynzi EX-95 2E. She was purchased by Budjon, Peter Vail and Heartland Dairy LLC, WI. Coming in at the 2nd highest seller of the day was Lot 6, JM Valley Crushtime Ladygirl who was purchased by Quality Holsteins, Agriber and Beckride for $44,000. She is the December 2020 daughter of Lot 1, Sidekick Lady. Following close behind was the third high seller of the day, a March 2021 calf, Lot 19 JM Valley Lambda Loup selling for $43,000. She is a March ‘21 Delta-Lambda out of a VG-86 Solomon x EX-95 Lynzi. She was purchased by Velthuis Farms, ON.
