117 Gendarmerie des Ports Single-Shot Flintlock Pistol French. .60 caliber, 5” round smoothbore barrels. Original flint, lock with brass pan, plain plate; action in working order. Walnut stock with brass furniture. Complete with iron ramrod. Fair to good. Bore oxidized. Age toned with scattered pitting on the barrel and lockplate. Moderate wood loss below the ramrod channel. $750 - $1,000

118 Model An 9 Gendarmerie Single-Shot Percussion Pistol Made at Maubeuge French. .62 caliber, 5.2” round-to-octagonal smoothbore barrel proof marked and dated “C. 1819” on the breech, S/N 172, tang faintly engraved “Mle AN 9.” Converted from flint, lockplate marked “Manuf Roy / Maubeuge;” action in working order. Walnut stock has iron furniture, marked with matching serial number. Fair. Bore fair and dirty. Metal with light peppering. Stock service worn, cracked between the band and lock. $750 - $1,000

119 Model An 9 St. Etienne Dragoon Musket French. .69 caliber, 40.5” round smoothbore barrel, octagonal at the breech with proof marks and date “1816,” tang marked “Mle an 9.” Original flint, lock with brass pan, frizzen replaced with original part, plate engraved “Manuf. Imp. / de St. Etienne;” action functions properly. Three-band walnut stock has cut-out cheek rest on the reverse buttstock, iron furniture with distinctive double middle band and tulip tip ramrod. Very good. Metal appears to have been cleaned. Spots of light oxidation and service wear. $3,500 - $4,000

120 Revolutionary Period Republican Marked Flintlock Parts Musket French. Musket produced by Republican forces from mixed parts in seized royal armories. .69 caliber, 41.5” smoothbore round barrel, octagonal at the breech with proof marks. Original flint, lock with iron pan, plate maker marked “JOVRJON” and proofed; action functions properly. Three-band walnut stock with cut-out cheek rest, buttstock marked on the obverse “A N” divided by a small liberty cap on a pole, iron furniture and ramrod. Good. Bore good. Scattered age spots with light pitting around the touch hole. Wood replaced between the tang and lock. $1,500 - $2,000 38
