Conformes aux exigences générales de la norme EN 420:2003 + classement de performances pour les caractéristiques mécaniques d'aptitude à la fonction selon la norme EN 388:2003. Certains gants font l’objet d’une norme spécifique pour des applications particulières telles le froid (EN511:2006), la chaleur de contact jusqu’à 100°C (EN 407:2004) et l’étanchéité (EN 374-2:2003). Norme EN 12477:2001 + A1 :2005 - Exigences minimales de certification dans le cadre d'une protection suffisante (mains et poignets) pour le soudage et le découpage. Exposition de courte durée à une flamme limitée, chaleur convective, de contact, rayonnement UV (arc, projection de métal fondu). Protection contre les agressions mécaniques. la norme facultative EN 1149-2 précise si le gant offre résistance minimale de 100V. Classement en deux grands types - Type A : gants de moins grande dextérité mais aux autres performances plus élevées - Type B : gant de plus grande dextérité mais aux autres performances plus faibles. Les niveaux de perf. sont classés dans un ordre croissant, niveau 0 étant le niveau le moins performant. Ces niveaux sont indiqués à côté du pictogramme représentant la norme dans le même ordre.

Conform to the European standard EN 420:2003 + performance level which shows how a glove has performed in a specific test for the mechanical risks accordingly to the EN 388:2003, and by which the results of that testing may be graded. Some gloves can also comply with specific applications like cold (EN511:2006), contact heat under 100°C (407:2004) and water tightness (EN 374-2:2003). Standard EN 12477 :2001 + A1 :2005 - Minimum certification requirements for an adequate protection (hands and wrists) for welding and cutting; Exposure of short duration to a limited flame, convective and/ or contact heat, UV radiation (curve, melted metal projection); Protection against mechanical attacks; The optional EN 1149-2 standard precise whether the glove provides the minimal resistance of 100V. Two main types - Type A : glove with a lower dexterity level but with other higher performances - Type B : glove with higher dexterity level but with other lower performances. The performance levels are classed in a increasing order, level 0 being the less performing one. These levels are always indicated in the same order next to the pictogram representing the standard.

La norma facultativa EN 1149-2 especifica si el guante ofrece una resistencia mínima de 100V. Los niveles de resultado están clasificados en un orden creciente, siendo el nivel 0 el de menor resultado. Reach REACH est le règlement européen sur l'enregistrement, l'évaluation, l'autorisation et les restrictions des substances chimiques. Il est entré en vigueur le 1er juin 2007. REACH rationalise et améliore l'ancien cadre règlementaire de l'Union européenne sur les produits chimiques.

REACH is the European regulation on the registration, evaluation, authorization and restriction of chemical compounds. It is in force since the 1st June 2007. REACH rationalizes and improves the former legal context of the European Union on the chemical compounds.

REACH es el reglamento europeo que se refiere al registro, la evaluación, la autorización y las restricciones de substancias químicas. Entró en vigor el 1° de Junio del 2007. REACH racionaliza y mejora el antigüo cuadro reglamentario de la Unión Europea referente a los productos químicos.

Les principaux objectifs de REACH sont d'assurer un niveau élevé de protection de la santé humaine et l'environnement contre les risques que peuvent poser les produits chimiques, la promotion de méthodes d'essai alternatives, la libre circulation des substances au sein du marché intérieur et de renforcer la compétitivité et l'innovation.

The main purposes of REACH are to insure a high protection level for the human health and for the environment against the hazards that can be caused by the chemical products, the development of alternative methods, the free compounds circulation of the compounds in the internal market and to reinforce the competitiveness and the innovation.

Los principales objetivos de REACH son asegurar un nivel elevado de protección de la salud humana y del medio ambiente contra los riesgos que pueden plantear los productos químicos, la promoción de los métodos de prueba alternativos, la libre circulación de las substancias en el mercado interior y reforzar la competitividad y la innovación.

REACH fait porter à l'industrie la responsabilité d'évaluer et de gérer les risques posés par les produits chimiques et de fournir des informations de sécurité adéquates à leurs utilisateurs. En parallèle, l'Union européenne peut prendre des mesures supplémentaires concernant des substances extrêmement dangereuses (SVHC), quand une action complémentaire au niveau européen se révèle nécessaire. En tant que premier importateur d’articles (au sens du règlement REACH), nous sommes soumis aux exigences de l’article 33 du règlement. L’article 33 impose à tout fournisseur d’un article contenant une substance identifiée comme substance extrêmement préoccupante (SVHC), avec une concentration dans l’article supérieur à 0.1% masse/masse, de fournir au destinataire de l’article les informations dont il dispose pour permettre l’utilisation dudit article en toute sécurité. De la même manière, sur demande d’un consommateur, les informations doivent être transmises, gratuitement et sous un délai de 45 jours. Afin d’assurer l’application de ces exigences dans la durée, nous cherchons à engager nos fournisseurs dans une démarche garantissant la non-utilisation des substances extrêmement préoccupante ou, à minima, à nous avertir de leurs présence dans nos produits et de nous proposer une solution de remplacement. Nous collaborons étroitement avec plusieurs laboratoires d’essais afin de contrôler dans nos produits l’absence de SVHC, malgré les engagements de nos fournisseurs, pour contrôler plus strictement encore la qualité de nos produits.

REACH compels the industry to evaluate and manage hazards caused by their chemical compounds and to supply safety, healthy and valid information at the users. In the same time, the European Union can take additional measures concerning substances of very high concern (SVHC), when an additional action at the European level is necessary. As first importer of articles (according to REACH regulation), we have to be in conformity with article 33 of the regulation. Article 33 imposes on each article's supplier which contains a substance identified as SVHC, with a concentration upper than 0.1% weight/weight, to supply at the article's addressee the information he has to allow the use of the article safely. In the same way, on customer request, the information must be transferred, for free and within a period of 45 days. In order to insure the application of these requirements, we intend to commit each of our suppliers to work on a method to guaranty the no-use of SVHC or, at minimal, at least, will force them to warn us for their presence in our products and to propose us a solution to replace them. We closely collaborate with several laboratories, to control, in our products, the absence of SVHC, in spite of our supplier commitments, to control the absence of SVHC in our products, in reinforcement of our products.

REACH le hace llevar a la industria la responsabilidad de evaluar y gestionar los riesgos planteados por los productos químicos y proporcionar información de seguridad adecuadas a sus usuarios. En paralelo, la Union Europea puede tomar medidas adicionales referentes a substancias extremadamente peligrosas (SVHC) cuando una acción complementaria a nivel europeo es necesaria. Al ser primer importador de productos (según el reglamento REACH), estamos sometidos a las exigencias del artículo 33 del reglamento. El artículo 33 le impone a cualquier proveedor de producto que contenga una substancia identificada como substancia extremadamente preocupante (SVHC) (con una concentración en el producto superior al 0.1% ) proporcionarle al usuario del producto las informaciones para permitir la utilización de dicho producto con toda seguridad. De esta manera, a la demanda del consumidor, se pueden transmitir las informaciones de manera gratis, en un plazo de 45 días. Para asegurar la aplicación de estas exigencias de manera durable, ponemos todo en obra para que nuestros proveedores se comprometan en una trámite que garantiza la no utilización de substancias extremadamente preocupantes, o por lo menos, que nos informen de su presencia en nuestros productos, y que nos propongan una solución de sustitución. Colaboramos de manera estrecha con varios laboratorios de pruebas para controlar la ausencia de SVHC en nuestros productos, a pesar del compromiso de nuestros proveedores, para controlar más estrictamente la calidad de nuestros productos.

L’ensemble des EPI vendus sur le marché communautaire est soumis à la directive 89/686/CE qui détermine les procédures de bases à appliquer quand à la normalisation d’un équipement. La directive définit trois types d’EPI : > EPI de catégorie 1 : ces EPI, d’une conception simple, sont destinés à protéger l’utilisateur contre des risques minimes, qui n’ont pas d’effet sur sa santé, ou dont les effets seront facilement réversibles. Ces EPI font l’objet d’une auto certification attestant qu’ils sont conformes aux exigences de conception basique de la directive : ERGONOMIE, CONFORT, INNOCUITE. Un EPI auto certifié est estampillé CE. > EPI de catégorie 2 : ces EPI sont destinés à protéger l’utilisateur contre les risques intermédiaires. Ils sont soumis à un examen CE de type, et doivent disposer d’une attestation d’examen (rédigée par un laboratoire notifié, accrédité par l’UE) afin d’être mis à disposition sur le marché communautaire. En vue d’obtenir ce certificat, l’EPI est soumis à des tests particuliers, décrits dans les normes européennes, selon la catégorie à laquelle il appartient. > EPI de catégorie 3 : ces EPI sont destinés à protéger l’utilisateur contre des dangers mortels ou susceptibles de nuire gravement et de façon irréversible à la santé. Comme les EPI de catégorie 2, ils sont soumis à un examen CE de type et doivent disposer d’une attestation rédigée par un organisme notifié. De plus, ces EPI sont soumis à un contrôle de la production.

Avant de commercialiser un gant, nous le soumettons naturellement à la procédure de certification adaptée à sa catégorie. Cet examen porte sur le dossier technique et sur les performances du modèle que nous fournissons à l’organisme notifié de notre choix.

The whole range of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) offered for sale on the European market is submitted to directive nbr 89/686/CE, which regulates the standardization processes of an equipment. The directive defines 3 types of PPE: > Category 1: these PPE, of basic conception, are dedicated to protect the user against negligible risks, which have either no effects on his health or easily reversible effects. These PPE are subjected to a self certification attesting that they comply with the basic conception standards of the directive: ERGONOMICS, COMFORT, INNOCUOUSNESS. A self certified PPE is labeled ‘EC’. > Category 2: these PPE are dedicated to protect the user against intermediate risks. They are submitted to an EC type examination, and must get an examination certificate (drafted by a notified and EC accredited laboratory) in order to be dispatched on the Community market. In order to obtain this certificate, the PPE is submitted to specific tests, described in European standards, according to the category it belongs to. > Category 3: these PPE are dedicated to protect the user against mortal risks, or risks likely to be seriously harmful to health in an irreversible way. They are submitted to an EC type examination, and must get an examination certificate drafted by a notified laboratory. Moreover, the production of these PPE has to be carefully controlled.

Before placing a glove on the market, we submit it at the certification process which corresponds to his category of PPE. This examination is based on the technical file and on performances of the submitted model at the notified body we have chosen.

Un EPI auto certificado se estampilla CE. > EPI de categoría 2 : estos EPI pretenden proteger al usuario contra los riesgos intermediarios. Se someten a un examen CE de tipo y deben disponer de un atestado de examen, redactado por un laboratorio notificado (acreditado por la UE), para ser vendido en el mercado comunitario. Para obtener este certificado, se somete el EPI a pruebas específicas, en función de la categoría de EPI a la cual pertenece. Estas pruebas así como las características mínimas de los EPI se describen en las normas europeas. > EPI de categoría 3 : estos EPI pretenden proteger al usuario contra peligros mortales o susceptibles de dañar gravemente y de manera irreversible su salud. Como los EPI de categoría 2, se someten a un examen CE de tipo y deben disponer de un atestado de examen CE redactado por un organismo notificado. Además, estos EPI se someten a un control de la producción.

Antes de comercializar un guante, lo sometemos al proceso de certificación adaptado a su categoría. Este examen, se hace sobre el expediente técnico y sobre las características técnicas del modelo que mandamos al organsimo notificado de nuestra elección.
