John Devane

Acting Head of School of Art and Design Welcome to the 2017 School of Art & Design Degree Show at Coventry University. Each finalist has been working towards the moment when their thoughts and ideas are realised and presented for public scrutiny. A daunting prospect perhaps? The students represented here are graduating from our courses in Automotive and Transport Design, Product Design and Interior Design. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the academic staff as well as our colleagues in the workshops, library, employability and student support areas, who have all worked tirelessly to help and guide our graduates throughout their creative journey with us. I would also like to thank our part-time staff, guest lecturers and industry professionals who all make such a valuable contribution to the School. Finally, I would like you to join me in congratulating the graduating cohort of students and wish them every success as they embark on their own design careers or postgraduate study in the years ahead.

Behind the Scenes A special thanks to all of the technicians and staff who have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to make our individual projects and the collective degree show a success. Without your support this wouldn’t have been possible. You’ve helped us push the boundaries of our projects and inspired us to be better. For your patience and uplifting humour, we all thank you.
