The project called for transforming an existing unused courtyard outside of the College of Architecture and Planning at Ball State University into a multi-use functional space for faculty and students. The proposal includes plans and construction details from start to finish.

Additionally, access and circulation is improved by adding two new entrances into the site, one being ADA accessible, and directing circulation flow with changes of pavement. Overall, the space adds a new aesthetic value with functionality.

The proposal consists of a relaxing area providing seating and gathering spaces. The existing conditions consisted of only concrete with few trees. The east end of the courtyard offers an outdoor pin up space/ art display area.
