County Kildare Chamber, an affiliated member of Chambers Ireland, EuroChambres and the International Chamber of Commerce, is the business organisation in the region that ensures member companies meet the challenges of global expansion. Expert advice is on hand for businesses researching international expansion.

The Chamber this year embarks on a trade visit to Boston, attends the World Chamber Congress in Geneva, various EU conferences in Brussels and will attend the Select USA Investment Summit in Washington DC with members companies.

The Chamber supports businesses doing business internationally in many forms. Our in-house team legalise and certify export documentation for those exporting primarily to the middle east and Asia. We advise companies exporting product to Mainland Europe & the UK, and offer support and training to businesses looking to research new markets. Our network and relationships with Chamber’s worldwide ensure that member companies are briefed with up-to-date information at all times.

Our annual trade delegations to Boston benefit our members hugely. Over the past number of years, many visiting members have now commenced commercial activity in Boston.

The Chamber hosts visiting international delegations on an ongoing basis -most recently, the Boston Irish Business Association, the Economic Development team from Kentucky and the Abu Dhabi Investment Department.

Eddie is new to the LEO team bringing an extensive career background in banking and retail management.

Kildare County Council’s Local Enterprise Office team, act as the first point of contact for businesses seeking advice, financial support, training, mentoring, access to dedicated business networks, product and service development, micro-finance loan fund, sustainability initiatives and digitisation.

Now based in MERITS Innovation Hub, Devoy Park, Naas - the LEO aim to promote entrepreneurship, foster business start-ups and develop existing micro and small businesses to drive job creation and to provide accessible high quality supports for the business community.
