I started my business in late 2017 and things began very slowly. A chance meeting with Bernie Everard, who at the time was the business development manager of the Kildare chamber, just before Xmas changed everything. Bernie invited me to come to the Kildare Chamber B2B meeting in Jan 2018 as a guest. That meeting turned out to be transformative for my business. I joined the Chamber shortly afterwards and have been a member ever since. I am now going into my 6th year as a Chamber member. Every business has its own reasons for joining a network. I have two. The first reason is to grow a community of likeminded people who get the challenges of being a small business owner. These people become your support network. They become your “go to” people. The second reason is to grow my business through connections made through the Chamber. Kildare Chamber has excelled for me on both fronts. I have a fantastic network of people I can call on when I have an issue that I have met through Kildare Chamber. As regards growing my business, 17% of my turnover can be directly attributed to connections I have made through Kildare Chamber. When it comes to renewing my memberships each year, it’s a no brainer when it comes to Kildare Chamber. I highly recommend Kildare Chamber to any business.
