What's on Jurassic World: Dominion Released: 10 June

That’s what Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and his pals are about to find out. Let’s be honest, you don’t want to be heading out of the supermarket after doing the weekly shop to find your car has been trampled by a herd of triceratops do you? In the film the stakes are a little bit higher... so they’ve brought in the big guns. Returning from the original Jurassic Park film are Dr Alan Grant, Dr Ellie Sattler and Dr Ian Malcolm (played by returning actors Sam Neil, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum). It’s going to be big, it’s going to be silly, it’s going to be full of nostalgia and there’s going to be an abundance of dinosaurs! This is what summer at the cinema is all about!

The Black Phone Released: 24 June Scott Derrickson directs this horror film about a 13 year old boy called Finney who is abducted by a scary man in a creepy mask. While Finney is locked in a soundproof basement awaiting his fate, a disconnected black phone on the wall starts ringing and Finney starts getting calls from the Grabber’s previous victims. They want to make sure Finney doesn’t meet the same end they did. Ethan Hawke gives a spine-tingling performance as the Grabber, in this edge-of-your-seat horror full of jumps and tension.
Elizabeth: A Portrait in Parts Released: 3 June The month of the Platinum Jubilee is upon us. This documentary from late Notting Hill director Roger Mitchell, gives us the history of Queen Elizabeth II, the longest-lived and longest reigning British monarch ever. It’s packed full of interviews and archive footage from her 96 years of life and 70 years of reign. So much has happened over the past century and seeing it through the eyes of one person who has been privy of so many world-changing events will be an interesting watch, whether you’re a fan of the Royals or not.
Elvis Released: 24 June June really is the month of royalty as it sees the release of the much-anticipated biopic of the King himself, Elvis. Everybody knows his name, knows his songs, but do they know his story? Directed by Moulin Rouge’s Baz Luhrmann and starring Austin Butler as Elvis Presley and Tom Hanks as manager Colonel Tom Parker, this film is already getting a lot of buzz as it’s an official selection at Cannes Film Festival. Expect Elvis tunes to be topping the streaming charts this summer! 09
