elcome to the 2019 spring issue of Arber’s Inspiration Guide! It is with great pride that we bring you this magazine for the 3rd year. We are fortunate to belong to a group of like-minded independent garden centres from across the country, and together we can collaborate and bring this magazine to life. As you browse through the pages we hope that the mix of information & inspiration helps you to get as excited about spring as it does us! Arber Greenhouses Ltd. was established in 1981, and we are so proud to serve Central Alberta. Did you know that we are open year round, and employ between 8-35 people at any given time through the year? Our team is a group of amazing people! Barbara has been working with us since 1998 and Monika is starting her 10th year at Arber. Many people ask what we do to keep busy through the winter. Aside from growing beautiful tropical houseplants, workshops and providing a fun shopping experience, winter is our time to

work hard at ordering and reviewing product. We carefully plan our seed & plant purchases as well as review our calendar to ensure the plants are blooming for Mother’s Day. We source trees, shrubs & perennials that are proven to survive and flourish in our cold winters (it’s -20°C as I’m writing this, brrr). We are working with our suppliers to have fresh fashion and home decor. And of course, looking for the coolest Gnomes! We are excited for what spring 2019 will bring! We look forward to catching up with you and your families. Oh, and the top colour for 2019 will be Living Coral ;)
