Coshocton is Blooming promotes beautification programs throughout the city and county of Coshocton by the use of flowers, plants, and trees to preserve historic structures and generally enhance commercial areas. The Old Stone fort is speculated to be the oldest building in Ohio, and possibly the Midwest. Most believe it was built by the French explorer, D’iberville, one of LaSalle’s aides, between 1679 and 1689.
Coshocton is proud to host the UKC Beagles Nationals and several hunts including the Don McVay Memorial.
