A new estate agents has opened in Plymouth - and the family team behind it are promising to go the extra mile for their customers. Halford & Homes has opened in Weston Park Road, Peverell and offer homeowners affordable packages with no hidden extras and a determination to provide the best possible service to customers. Director James Halford, who grew up in Peverell, has more than 13 years' experience working in the Plymouth area, specialising in sales, lettings, auctions and property management. James has previously worked for corporate and independent companies and believes that now is the perfect time to launch an estate agency. James said: "While working in estate agency I have seen a huge shift in the market place: the industry now has a demand for good quality service from local people with competitive fees. "I believe the property market in Plymouth has been very positive over the last few years, compared with other parts of the country. "Providing they are sensibly priced, properties coming onto the market are often selling within days, sometimes within hours," he said. "Although there is more demand than supply at the moment, I still believe that there are plenty of homeowners in the area who are looking to move." Halford & Homes offer two bespoke packages for people looking to sell their home. The first is priced from £720 including VAT and consists of valuation, photos, floor plans and all advertising required, but requires customers to handle viewing and sales progression themselves, with the support of the Halford & Homes team. The second service is based on the traditional full estate agency approach with Halford & Homes marketing the property, providing accompanied viewings and comprehensive sales progression.
