At Cornell: A strong runner with good vision, Germani will have a chance to earn playing time in the backfield and on special teams. Germani saw action in two contests as a freshman. He saw time in the backfield against Columbia, rushing for two yards on his only carry. Germani is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. At Emmaus: Germani rushed for 1,624 yards and 14 touchdowns as a senior at Emmaus HS, earning first-team all-area accolades. He finished with career numbers of 3,561 yards and 36 touchdowns on the ground. He earned the Maxwell Football Club Award as the topplayeronhisteam.GermaniwasinvitedtoplayintheMcDonald’s LehighValleyAll-StarFootballClassicafterhisseniorseason.Asa junior, Germani won the 2003 NHSCA High School Football Strength, Speed and Agility championship. Personal: Jamison L. Germani is the son of Jeffrey and Kimberly Germani and has an older brother andyoungersister.

Ford was extremely impressive in four contests as a reserve in 2005, completing 14-of-25 passes for 132 yards. He notched a freshman record 112 yards on 10-of-17 passing against Yale, and also saw significant action against Colgate the followingweek.FordisenrolledintheCollegeofEngineering.AtPalo Alto: Ford tossed for 2,151 yards and 24 touchdowns as a senior at Palo Alto HS while rushing for five more scores. The two-year tricaptain was named the league’s outstanding offensive player and first-teamall-leagueandhonorablementionall-stateasasenior. Ford was a perfect 16-of-16 passing in a 49-40 win in one game and threw for six touchdowns in another contest. Ford tossed for 2,301 yardsand29touchdownswithjustnineinterceptions in earningthe San Jose Mercury News All-Central Coast Junior of the Year. For his career, Ford threw for 6,357 yards and 72 touchdowns while running for19more.Athree-sportstar(football,basketball,baseball),Ford washeavilyrecruitedbyDivisionIbaseballprogramsbeforeopting to play football. At Cornell: A two-year starter, Grant is expected to return to the defensive backfield in 2006. He had a solid junior campaign, intercepting two passes and making a career-best 34 tackles in his 10 starts. Grant picked off passes against both Brown and Columbia, and made a seasonhigh seven tackles at Colgate. After being converted from running back to wide receiver to defensive back to take advantage of his athleticism as a sophomore, Grant found a permanent spot. He saw action in all 10 games in 2004, with eight starts at defensive back. While learning on the job, Grant still found a way to impress with his raw ability, making 28 tackles with six pass breakups. He had an electric 50-yard interception return at Brown and broke up two passes in wins over Yale and Princeton. He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences. At C.W. Baker: A football letter winner for three seasons at C.W. Baker HS, Grant was also a member of the track and field team for three years. On the gridiron, he was a three-time letter winner, earning all-league, All-CNY and all-state honors as a running back his junior and senior years. He was also recognized as an all-league defensive back in 2000. His team won the league title for three straight years. As a member of the track team, he was a first-team all-league high jumper and was a member of the section championship 4x100 relay. Personal: Matthew A. At Cornell: Grove moved to defensive end after spending his rookie season at linebacker. His speed will help him attempt to break into the rotation withagoodfallpractice.GroveisenrolledintheCollegeofArtsand Sciences. At Loganville: Grove was an all-county selection as a seniorafterasuccessfulthree-yearstartingcareeratLoganvilleHS. A team captain as a senior, he was the school’s nominee for the Wendy’s High School Heisman Award and was a three-time team defensive player of the week. A Coca-Cola Academic Athlete award winner,Grovealsoledtheteam’sdefensivelinemenwith59tackles asajunior.Hewasafour-yearstarterandletterwinneronthegolf team, earning all-county honors twice, and was a two-year letter winner in basketball. Personal: Garrett Grove is the son of Ric and Lisa Grove and has an older brother and younger sister.
