In an effort to reach out to the City’s senior community, staff created a quarterly newsletter highlighting upcoming events, recipes and City news. The newsletters are distributed to St. Andrew Towers and are available at the Coral Springs Senior Center at Sartory Hall, City Hall in the Mall, City Hall and other City recreation facilities. New Senior Membership Cards are available to residents and includes discounts at participating partners around the City. Members can also attend a lecture series for free and more. The cards are available for purchase at the Coral Springs Senior Center at Sartory Hall for $12 and is valid for a calendar year. 10150 Ben Geiger Drive

Commission renames Senior Center in Mullins Park The City Commission recently renamed Sartory Senior Center as Coral Springs Senior Center at Sartory Hall. Originally built in 1972 as the City Community Building, the facility was eventually designated as a senior center by day and a teen center by night. As more teen venues were built, the use shifted to be primarily a gathering space for seniors. It was renamed Sartory Hall in 1991 after Jack Sartory, an early member of the Coral Springs Planning and Zoning Board, activist and volunteer. His wife, Virginia Sartory, received the Chamber of Commerce Covered Bridge Award in 1982 for her extensive volunteer work. Coral Springs Senior Center at Sartory Hall hosts many programs, including fitness and educational classes. For current schedules and other activities for seniors, visit our website or call for more details.
