COOROY RAG Wilvos benefit from fundraiser

Wilvos volunteers were happy to receive a cheque from the Bushfire Relief Fundraiser hosted at Cooroy RSL on the 29th February. $5,437.80 was raised due to great donations from many local businesses. Wilvos said the money was much needed for equipment and support for their carers. Roslyn Leslie from Wilvos, speaker at the Cooroy Rotary meeting on 09 March, explained the excellent work undertaken by volunteers who receive over 3,000 calls to their 24 Hour Hotline to assist with injured wildlife including birds, koalas and roos.
