Annual Service Widows’ Luncheon

OUR Annual Service Widows’ Luncheon was a great success thanks to all the volunteers and supporters of this worthwhile event. Approximately 50 Service Widows, guests and Sub Branch Members attended. Thank you to Pretty Paws Team of Kath, Sue and Jo and all the Sub Branch volunteers and RSL staff for making the event one to remember. The 2 course lunch was delicious and presented perfectly with beautiful table arrangements. The menu for the day included a selection of tasty choices including Macadamia Herb Crusted Pearl Perch and
Sticky Date Pudding with butterscotch. The table arrangements were designed by our very own Leanne White from exquisite flowers and foliage supplied by The Flower Room Pomona. Elegant corsages were also generously provided to all the ladies. Attendees were entertained by a selection of Pam Ayres poetry delivered by Angie Cull (pictured) and great music by Nick van Zutphen. Special thanks to Jackie from Livelife Pharmacy Cooroy for supplying lovely gifts to all our Service Widows and to Tanya for presenting them.
