Online Campus What is virtual education?
How it works?
It consists in training students who do not attend physically to education institutions. This lack of presence is solved through teaching strategies, special pedagogic elements, and technology platforms specifically designed to achieve the education of the distance learner. Therefore, the accesibility, flexibility, and success of the educative model, depend on teaching resources, computer equipment, information technologies infrastructure, and professors.
Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua, through its online campus, offers distance education through educative platforms, information technologies, a vast and modern telecommunications infrastructure, and communication services such as Internet and its multiple tools (communication networks, multimedia, digital tutorials, videoconferences, discussion forums and e-mail) in interaction to engage students, professors, and peers without the need for a personal meet.
14
“Luchar para lograr, lograr para dar”

University Cultural Center
Quinta Gameros This wonderful house was built by the Colombian Architect Julio Corredor Latorre, under the order of Manuel Gameros, whose family had to migrate because of the Revolution Movement in 1910 and never lived in the house. In 1913 this house became the residence of Venustiano Carranza, later became the headquarters and office of General Francisco Villa. The main façade of the house has a neoclassical style; it evokes the Renaissance with its columns and sculptural ensembles. However, the sum of the indoor and outdoor styles formed what is now known as eclecticism. Outdoors stand out a double-ramp waving stair to access to the porch and a big stained glass window which illuminates the hall, as well as the rococo ornaments on its walls. The best expression of the Art Nouveau is portrayed in the furniture which belonged to the Requena family and was brought in 1971 from Mexico City. It includes glassware, bars, cutlery and other complementary details that are now permanent objects in the museum.
