An upmarket part of town that begins at the Rotunda da Boavista and extends all the way to the sea via the longest avenue in Portugal. Along the way are the lungs of Porto, the Parque da Cidade (City Park) – which is also the largest inner-city park in the country! And in between are historic streets that lead you to Foz. A Foz with an elegant sea front boulevard and a series of beaches that made this a famous bathing area in the early 20th century; an Old Foz full of tradition that embraces the river and meanders down towards Ribeira.
