nce seen, never forgotten. Porto, the city of eternal love that springs from its proud landmarks and the genuine energy of its people. In the hard task of naming only a few points of interest, we’ve made a list of some of the must-see places which embody the city’s flavour. Many of them are in Baixa, the downtown area of timeless memories and UNESCO World Heritage status. Others are to be found in Foz, some noble and elegant and others so finely wrought they could only exist in its old streets. In the middle of this rich urban fabric lie parks and gardens that spring from the heart of the city, oases that envelop visitors in a shroud of poetry. Along the marginal, the winding river and sea on the horizon give the city an unmatched nostalgic romanticism. In various areas, there exists a cosmopolitan creative energy that never fails to surprise those who live here or are just passing through. In some cases, Porto’s unique charm engenders a love at first sight. A feeling which creates an everlasting bond with this city.

uem vem nunca esquece. Porto é amor eterno que se ergue dos seus orgulhosos marcos históricos e da genuína força dos portuenses. Nesta tarefa difícil de apontar os pontos de interesse, reunimos algumas referências incontorná veis que traçam o perfil da cidade. Muitas delas estão na baixa, zona de memórias intemporais, que cuida do Património Mundial da UNESCO. Outras na Foz, ora nobre e elegante, ora com uma finura de trato que só as ruas antigas sabem exibir. No meio deste rico tecido urbano, há jardins que surgem do coração da cidade - quais oásis lindíssimos - e que nos envolvem com uma certa dose de poesia. Na marginal, são as curvas do rio e o horizonte do mar que dotam a cidade de um incomparável romantismo nostálgico. Por entre contemplações várias, existe um criativo frenesim cosmopolita que não cessa de surpreender quem aqui vive ou simplesmente está de visita. Num ou noutro caso, todos encontram no Porto um encanto único que cativa à primeira vista. Um sentimento que nos une para sempre a esta cidade Invicta.
