ALCANTARA Às portas de Lisboa, aqui o Tejo é protagonista. Belém é a joia da coroa, zona ampla e verdejante, com a maior concentração de património e museus do país, e dois dos principais pólos culturais da cidade: o CCB e o MAAT. Imperdível é a subida até à Ajuda, para uma perspetiva especial do rio Tejo e uma visita ao Palácio. Descendo até ao Restelo, residencial e tranquilo, um passeio pela “Rua das Lojas” lembra-nos como é bom o comércio de rua. Alcântara tem muito para oferecer: seja um agradável passeio à beira-rio nas docas, seja uma experiência mais urbana e alternativa na LX Factory, um irreverente pólo de lazer.
At the gateway to Lisbon, the Tagus takes centre stage. Belém is the jewel in the crown, a spacious and green area with the country’s largest concentration of heritage and museums and two of the city’s main cultural attractions: the CCB and MAAT. Walk up to Ajuda for a special and unmissable view of the river and a visit to the Palace. Then down to Restelo, a calm residential area, for a stroll through the “Rua das Lojas” to remind you how good high street shopping can be. Alcântara has plenty to offer: a pleasant walk beside the river or a more urban and alternative experience at LX Factory, an irreverent place of leisure.
