Mad Mary não é o nome de um personagem! São duas irmãs, Madalena e Maria, que realizaram o seu sonho e abriram uma padaria muito especial. Aqui o pão é artesanal e feito na melhor tradição francesa, as saladas, sanduíches e tartines são ótimas, a pastelaria e bolachinhas, irresistíveis. Comece ao pequeno-almoço, volte ao almoço, faça uma pausa para o lanche. Faltava um sítio assim, informal e descontraído, a dois passos da Avenida! 3 Mad Mary isn’t a character from Alice in Wonderland! It’s the name of two sisters, Madalena and Maria, who have fulfilled their dream to open a special bakery with artisanal bread made in the best French tradition. The salads, sandwiches and tartines are great, the pastries and biscuits irresistible. Begin with breakfast, return for lunch, and drop by for afternoon tea. Relaxed and easy-going, this is what we needed just two steps from the Avenida!
Verdadeiro laboratório de gastronomia, este restaurante dá prazer e saúde, aliando uma cozinha de autor saudável e com alma a um bom ambiente. Os pratos, preparados com produtos biológicos, são criações de Daniel Estriga, um jovem chef que surpreende pelo talento e originalidade. O Tártaro de novilho ou o Arroz “Verde Verde Verde” são exemplos que provámos e recomendamos, acompanhados de um cocktail ou de um sumo detox. 3 This is a real laboratory of gastronomy, a restaurant which offers pleasure and wellbeing combined with healthy and soulful auteur cuisine in a good atmosphere. The dishes are prepared with organic produce and created by Daniel Estriga, a young chef who is hugely talented and original. We tried the Veal tartar and the “Green Green Green” rice and they come highly recommended, accompanied by a cocktail or detox juice.
