DP’s sustainable energy centre has launched a new programme called “Your Energy” for 6-10-year-olds. The idea is to organise interactive school visits in a large and colourful environment where children can learn about electricity in a fun way. The programme is designed to make the young aware of environmental problems and energy efficiency. Amid comic mayhem, Professor Energy and Professor Spark teach children, who are split into two age groups, how to use and save electricity in an alternative and fun way. After a busy hour, kids go home happy with a present and a short activity book to continue learning and to teach their parents. This year, the focus is renewable energies, encouraging kids to think about the environment in an informed way. With EDP’s help, we’re half way there to educating future generations about a clean world.•
