Each item is a moving piece of art and a statement by those who wear it. Her very distinct style is assumedly contemporary, but based firmly on the artisanal tradition, and her creations one-off pieces in limited collections. CENTRAL TEJO
Há um novo museu a nascer à beira rio e a Central Tejo faz parte dele. O emblemático edifício industrial da antiga central elétrica deixa de ser Museu da Eletricidade para integrar o MAAT - Museu de Arte, Arquitetura e Tecnologia. A inauguração do novo edifício, um projecto da arquitecta Amanda Levete, será em outubro, mas a Central abre já em junho com salas remodeladas e quatro exposições. Estreie a programação do novo pólo cultural da cidade! 3 There’s a new museum rising beside the river and the old power station (Central Tejo) is part of it. The iconic industrial structure is no longer the Museum of Electricity and is now part of the Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology (MAAT). CCB - GARAGEM SUL
É uma das grandes obras contemporâneas da capital e um pólo fundamental da vida cultural dos lisboetas, com uma programação eclética onde todas as artes têm lugar. Desde 2012, integra a Garagem Sul, uma galeria de exposições dedicada em exclusivo à arquitetura. Até 18 de setembro, “Continuidade” de Eduardo Souto de Moura, estará em destaque e a partir de outubro recebe a Trienal de Arquitetura de Lisboa. A não perder! 3 This is one of the city’s major contemporary venues and a key hub in Lisbon’s cultural life, with an eclectic programme that makes space for all of the arts. Since 2012, it has also comprised Garagem Sul, an exhibition gallery deciated exclusively to architecture. Until 18 September, “Continuity” by Eduardo Souto de Moura will be on show, while from October it will be the Lisbon Architecture Triennial.
