Inside, its signature feature is a 2-metre-tall solidsilver fountain. Experts in traditional Portuguese jewellery, the speciality is filigree jewellery that’s made by hand with very fine threads of gold and silver. Há 100 anos que esta loja tem portas abertas no Chiado! Azulejos e faianças tradicionais portugueses figuram neste icónico showroom de cerâmicas produzidas na Fábrica Sant’Anna, com métodos inteiramente artesanais que se mantêm os mesmos desde 1741. O que começou por ser uma olaria, depressa levou às paredes de Lisboa painéis de azulejos únicos, que fazem hoje parte do nosso património. Uma arte que vale a pena preservar! 3 Open in Chiado for 100 years, the traditional Portuguese azulejo tiles and faience on display at this iconic showroom of ceramics produced by the Fábrica Sant’Anna reveal the factory’s same entirely handmade methods that have been in use since 1741. What began as a pottery soon started making the unique azulejo panels that decorate the walls of Lisbon and are part of our heritage.
