Chique e retro, o restaurante do Bairro Alto Hotel fez remodelações e virou-se para a cidade. Descontraiu no look mas não na qualidade dos pratos deliciosos, com muitos petiscos para partilhar. Sonhamos, ainda hoje, com o Arroz de Berbigão com Chips de Corvina, os Peixinhos da Horta com Molho Romesco e (pára tudo) a Pêra com Chocolate, Requeijão e Biscoito de Amêndoa. Nos dias úteis, há Menu de Almoço. 3 Chic and retro, the restaurant of the Bairro Alto Hotel has just been refurbished. The look is casual but not the quality of the delicious food. It makes your mouth water just thinking about dishes like Cockle rice with fish chips, Deep-fried string beans with romesco sauce and Pear with chocolate, curd cheese and almond biscuit. PS

Sob abóbadas pombalinas abriu o Xapuri, restaurante acolhedor forrado a portas e janelas de outros tempos. Curiosamente, a primeira vez que aqui entrámos demos de caras com a fantástica Fanny Ardant na sua hora de almoço. Óptimo cartão-de-visita, pensámos. A confirmação veio com a refeição: tapas deliciosas e bem confeccionadas: o Trio de Enchidos com Puré de Batata-doce ou Tártaro de Salmão são dois exemplos. Prove tudo! 3 Under its 18th-century vaulted ceiling, Xapuri is a cosy restaurant whose walls are lined with old doors and windows. Interestingly, the first time we enter, we come face to face with the wonderful Fanny Ardant on her lunch break. Great advertisement, we think. And the confirmation comes with the meal of delicious and well-prepared tapas: Sausage trio with sweet potato purée and Salmon tartar, for example. But don’t stop there! PS
