Entra e senta-se no sofá, lê umas linhas, finge umas frases em francês, ouve o jazz, ouve o fado, toma o brunch, bebe o vinho, come a torrada de truta ou de cavala, o queijinho, o presunto, diz bem dos móveis velhos, diz bem dos sítios novos, come a tarte de limão, o bolo de chocolate, bebe o chá frio, fica para a festa, chama outros amigos e vai-se embora. Na lista dos restaurantes preferidos de muitos lisboetas, o Café Buenos Aires tinha um problema gravíssimo. Quando chegávamos lá para o jantar mais romântico do mundo, já o resto de Lisboa se tinha lembrado disso: “Não há mesa!” Questão resolvida, acabou de abrir um novo espaço na antiga fábrica da Confeitaria Nacional. Uma sala acolhedora ao estilo “fin de siècle” com muita alma e com a mesma ementa. Agora sim, é perfeito. 3 Café Buenos Aires was on the list of everyone’s favourite. But it had a serious problem. When you arrived for the most romantic dinner of your life, you discovered that everyone else in the city had had the same idea! But the problem has been solved. They’ve opened a second one, with a charming dining room, in “fin de siècle” style, bags of personality and the same menu. Now it really is perfect. MP
