PDF PENHAS DOURADAS FOOD & FACTORY O espaço é pequeno mas sai-se de lá em grande. É um projecto português da Casa das Penhas Douradas, na Serra da Estrela, que decidiu comercializar produtos típicos da região. Por um lado temos os produtos alimentares gourmet feitos pela mão do chef Luís Baena, como pestos, ketchups de abóbora ou de boletus, palitos de Queijo da Serra e chutneys variados. Por outro lado temos mantas, mochilas, almofadas e outros objectos feitos em Burel, o tecido ultra resistente e quente usado pelos pastores. Vale mesmo a pena conhecer. This shop may be small, but it’s packed full of great stuff. Set up by the Casa das Penhas Douradas, of Serra da Estrela fame, the aim is to sell traditional regional products but in a more gourmet version. There are a range of foods, made by a renowned chef, such as pestos, pumpkin and mushroom ketchups, cheese sticks and a range of chutneys, and other traditional products like blankets and cushions made from a warm and hardwearing material used by shepherds.
