Day 4: Helsinki to St. Petersburg Pass through Finland’s pine forests & wilderness, before crossing over the border into Russia & reaching the “Venice of the North” - St. Petersburg. Hotel. (B,D) Days 5-6: St. Petersburg Check out the city sights & go local with two full days to explore - you’ll discover the riches & palace-lined waterways of this impressive city. Maybe see the Russian Ballet, shop in local markets for Matryoshka dolls or tuck into the local specialties - beef stroganoff & vodka! Hotel. Day 7: St. Petersburg to Novgorod Discover the picturesque ancient fort town of Novgorod, once the stronghold of the early Tsars. Hotel. (B,D) Locally guided tour of Novgorod’s old town & the Millennium Bell Day 8: Novgorod to Moscow Stop into the township of Klin on the way to Russia’s spiritual, political & economic hub, Moscow. Days 9-10: Moscow Moscow is a richly layered city, with history & culture at every turn. Witness the mix of ‘New’ & ‘Old’ Russia architecture, culture & people. Day 13: Warsaw Warsaw’s past is amazing. See parts of the city that were totally reconstructed after being ruined in the war, as well its colourful palaces, churches & mansions. Hotel (B,D) Visit the old town, the monument to Chopin & hear tales of the Warsaw uprisings

Day 14: Depart Warsaw/ Berlin The tour ends after breakfast in Warsaw, or catch a complimentary transfer to Berlin where your tour ends upon arrival. (B)
