Get Online CPR Certification at Affordable Prices Using American Health Care Academy’s Courses The American Health Care Academy (AHCA) is offering online CPR courses and certification to all those that may be interested in saving lives even if they are not medical personnel. The courses are all offered online but can also include a practical aspect where the learners are exposed to the practical setup to gain hands-on experience. Courses are available throughout the US and where students prefer to do their skills assessment in person, the institution refers them to partner instructors. All instructors involved are practicing health care professionals and are trained by OSHA and the American Heart Association. Speaking about the courses, the Training Officer said, “Looking at the statistics, close to 300,000 Americans die of cardiac arrest every year. Some of these incidences occur in public places and many have no idea how to help someone in such a situation. These courses are therefore aimed at equipping everybody, not just medical staff, with the requisite knowledge and skills for such situations. She added, “It is our hope that more people will take these courses and help save more lives. We need Good Samaritans that know what to do when they are faced with a health crisis so that more people come out of such situations alive.” AHCA offers several courses including CPR certification, First Aid, AED, Bloodborne Pathogens and the Healthcare Provider CPR certification course. Learners must choose a course and register their details on the website. The student is ready to begin after they have paid for the course. All course material is available on the website at all times. Once the learner feels ready to take the quiz, they can go ahead and do so. The questions are multiple choice and cover all that has been taught in the course material. One can only be considered to have passed after attaining a score of 75 percent or higher. Learners can take the quiz several times until they pass at no additional cost. Students can also take the optional blended approach where they take the online course and then do the hands-on skills assessment. For the second part, the learners can either complete the hands on skills assessment through video conferencing or in person with a local instructor. Responding to a comment, the Training Officer said, “We have had quite a good uptake for our courses for both corporate and group clients. The numbers currently stand at more than 10,000 and it is definitely growing. Offering these courses to groups becomes easier for the learners because the instructors can go to them instead of the learners having to travel to the instructor’s

location for a skills assessment. We look forward to imparting this knowledge to more people across the US and because of that we plan to offer the courses in Spanish in the near future. The online CPR Recertification Program is open to all that are interested in saving lives. A mobile app is also available for people to take the course from. It is known as CPR Certification Online. The course is therefore available on several platforms to make it more convenient for learners.
