BUSINESS PROFILE A contributor to the company’s strategic direction and business development, part of my responsibilities is overseeing new projects. Among them are: the rehabilitation of the former Malta Shipbuilding in Grand Harbour into the Mediterranean Maritime Hub, a centre of excellence for the marine, oil and gas industry in the Mediterranean; overseeing the growth of MMH Academy; pursuing new ventures to consolidate our oil and gas portfolio; and the expansion of MMH’s portfolio in shipping and commercial marine to create strategic alliances with other ports and partners in the Med region. Being passionate about my work, I challenge myself constantly, tending to set goals that can, at times, seem unachievable. However, I’m not afraid to take risks, understanding that these are necessary within the context of a wider picture. Time being precious, I do not dwell much on detail but, when called upon, I tend to grab the bull by its horns to move to the next challenge.
