BUSINESS PROFILE
As Head of the corporate and finance practice group of the firm, I have developed a broad-based practice in the corporate, commercial and finance areas, ranging from bank lending and banking products to privatisations, capital markets, M&A transactions, corporate finance, securitisations and asset management. I have extensive experience in advising banks and financial institutions on the regulatory aspects of their businesses including those international clients who need to establish new operations in Malta. On a day-to-day basis, I advise clients on commercial and finance transactions, regulatory and compliance matters, corporate governance and corporate matters generally. I have extensive experience in mergers and takeovers, private acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, company divisions and equity and debt financing structures. A first mover in the development of capital markets in Malta, I act for a significant number of companies listed on the Malta Stock Exchange.
