Head Coach Ryan Lennerton is in his sixth season at A&M Consolidated. Under Coach Lennerton, Consol has made the playoffs 3 times. The 2020 team was 12-1 and ranked 6th in the state before the season ended due to COVID. In 2018, the Tigers advanced to the second round of the playoffs after defeating district champion Corsicana in three games.

Since Lennerton took over, the Tigers have had twenty-five players go on to play college baseball.

Prior to Consol, Lennerton coached for Twelve Baseball for four and a half years. At Twelve he coached players aged 9 to 18. Lennerton was the Fall High School Coordinator for three years.

Lennerton began his coaching career at Galveston College as their pitching coach from 2005-2007. In his first season Lennerton helped guide the Whitecaps to a 20-14 record, a 17 game turnaround from the previous year. In 2007, the Whitecaps advanced to the Regional tournament finishing 2-2.

Coach Lennerton then joined the Wayne State College coaching staff in the fall of 2007. He spent five years in Wayne as a recruiter, and pitching and catching coach. In five seasons, the Wildcats went 169 - 88. Wayne State won the Northern Sun Conference in 2008 and 2009. In 2009, the Wildcats fell one game short of the NCAA Div II World Series. In April of 2022, Coach Lennerton will be inducted into the Wayne State College Hall of Fame as a coach when the 2009 team is inducted.

A graduate of Brookswood Secondary School in Langley, British Columbia, Lennerton was a standout player in the BC Premier League. He played club baseball for the Langley Blaze and was also selected to Team BC and the Canadian Junior National Team. He was drafted in 2001 and 2002, by the Los Angeles Dodgers. Lennerton played two years at Eastern Oklahoma State College under Coach Todd Shelton and one year at the University of Arkansas in 2004. Lennerton was a member of the 2004 Razorback team that won the SEC and advanced to the College World Series.

Lennerton graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Masters Degree in Sports and Recreation management from Wayne State College. He has been married to his wife, Jessica, for eleven years. They have three children, Elaina Ruth (9), Nolan Ryan (6), and Elizabeth Rose (infant).
