31 DECEMBER A VIVID NEW YEARS EVE Florals, glitter and sequins galore! Join us this year as we celebrate New Year’s Eve with a tropical Rio style carnival. This New Year’s Eve join us at Conrad Maldives and be teleported into one the biggest parties in the world marked by tropical cocktails, music, thrilling entertainment and a lot of dancing. The soundtrack for the night will be provided by six piece band, Wendy Robin and Band as they play everything from samba, salsa and Latino hits to current chart toppers and everything in between. A rare breed of old school and new school, Wendy Robin has performed around the world, from New York to the Caribbean, to China. Join them at the beach on Rangali Finolhu as they keep the party going to the early hours of 2019. The evening will be complete with the resort’s iconic fireworks at midnight. To help build a sense of stewardship for the environment, together with Ocean Dive Maldives the resort has introduced a coral adoption program for guest to help with the resort’s wider coral restoration initiative. Guests who adopt a coral frame will be actively involved in planting the frames with the guidance of a marine biologist. Guest will also receive an adoption certificate, a dedication plaque on the frame, a photo album of the planting process and photographs on the frame’s progress every six months.
