The importance of friendship A friend in need is a friend indeed. Undoubtedly, no one can live alone without having any friends. If you don’t have friends, you feel loneliness, which is a terrible feeling. Therefore, friendship is considered to be of great importance. A real friend can offer you companionship and the feeling that you are never alone. If you have problems or if you feel lonely, a true friend will be there for you at any time. What is more, friends always support you and help you in order to find solutions to problems and make the right decisions. Moreover, you can confide all of your secrets in your friends and you know that they will never tell them to anyone. But they can confide their secrets in you, as well. A real friend will be there for you in good and bad times, either to be happy for your happiness, or to be sad for your sadness. Having a friend means having fun! There is no doubt that you have a great time with your friends and spend your free time together. Usually, two friends have the same character and interests. This makes it easier to have fun, because they like to spend their time by doing the same things. However, this doesn’t mean that if two friends have different interests, they won’t have fun. Each friend respects the other and understands his different thoughts and likes. In conclusion, each of us needs to have a good friend, because friendship is extremely important. Αρχαία Ελληνικά ΠΑΡΑΔΕΙΓΜΑΤΑ ΔΙΑΧΡΟΝΙΚΟΤΗΤΑΣ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗΣ ΓΛΩΣΣΑΣ Η ελληνική γλώσσα είναι διαχρονική, είναι μια γλώσσα η οποία ζει εδώ και τουλάχιστον 3000 χρόνια. Αυτό διαφαίνεται και από ένα απόσπασμα από το έργo του Ομήρου, την Οδύσσεια: « Ἄνδρα μοι ἕννεπε, μοῦσα, πολύτροπον, ὅς μάλα πολλὰ πλάγχθη, ἐπεί Τροίης ἱερόν πτολίεθρον ἔπερσεν, πολλῶν δ΄ ἀνθρώπων ἴδεν ἄστεα καὶ νόον ἔγνω». Τις περισσότερες λέξεις του παραπάνω αποσπάσματος συνεχίζουμε να τις χρησιμοποιούμε μέχρι και σήμερα. Κάποιες απ’αυτές είναι: ἄνδρα, μοῦσα, πολύτροπον, ἀνθρώπων, ἱερόν κ.α. Σε πολλά από τα κείμενα του Ομήρου παρατηρούμε λέξεις οι οποίες σώζονται αυτούσιες μέχρι και σήμερα. Για παράδειγμα η λέξη χθες/ἐχθές υπάρχει αυτούσια από την εποχή του Ομήρου. Το ίδιο συμβαίνει και με τις λέξεις ἄγαλμα, τοῖχος, ἀγανάκτηση, κατάληψις, νόημα, πρᾶγμα κ.α. Υπάρχουν λέξεις οι οποίες δε σώθηκαν αυτούσιες, που όμως μπορούμε εύκολα να καταλάβουμε τη σημασία τους. Ενδεικτική είναι η λέξη ἅλς που σημαίνει αλάτι.
