QIN LI-WEI Chine â Australie / China â Australia Qin Li-Wei sâest rĂ©vĂ©lĂ© en rempor tant un 2 e Prix au Concours TchaĂŻkovski de 1998 puis en remportant le Concours Naumburg de New York en 2001. Il mĂšne depuis une grande carriĂšre internationale et joue en soliste avec les meilleurs orchestres dâAsie, Âd âÂEurope et dâAmĂ©rique. En musique de chambre, on peut lâentendre dans les festivals les plus cotĂ©s oĂč il joue en compagnie des plus grands artistes. Professeur au Conser vatoire Yong-Sew Toh de Singapour et Professeur invitĂ© Ă Shanghai et Beijing, il a fondĂ© en 2018 le Festival de violoncelle de Qingdao en Chine.
Qin Li-Wei was first revealed by winning 2 nd Prize at the Tchaikovsky Competition, then 1st Prize at the Naumburg Competition in New York, in 2001. Since then, he has led an important international career, performing as a soloist with many of the worldâs most renowned orchestras in Asia, Europe and America. As a chamber musician, he is a regular guest of top festivals, where he appears with some of the worldâs greatest musicians. Qin Li-Wei is Professor at the Yong-Sew Toh Conservatory in Singapore and guest professor in Shanghai and Beijing. In 2018, he founded the Qingdao International Cello Festival in China.

Elle est Professeure et doyenne du dĂ©partement des cordes Ă lâUniversitĂ© de Toronto.
Internationally acclaimed, award-winning cellist Shauna Rolston is one of the most passionate and innovative musical voices on the contemporary world stage. She has performed in many of the worldâs major concert halls with many of the worldâs leading artists; her commitment to contemporary music has led to the commission and creation for her of more than 50 works for cello. She continues to captivate, astonish and delight with her concerts, recordings, and world premieres. Ms. Rolston is Professor of Cello at the University of Toronto.
