THOMAS DEMENGA Suisse / Switzerland Soliste, compositeur et pĂ©dagogue bernois internationalement reconnu, Thomas Demenga joue avec les plus grands musiciens et les meilleurs orchestres mondiaux. Dans son travail d’interprĂšte et de compositeur, il privilĂ©gie la confrontation entre les styles et les Ă©poques ainsi que la pratique de l’improvisation. Il a dĂ©veloppĂ© une voix unique tant comme compositeur que comme interprĂšte des musiques du 20e et 21e siĂšcle. NommĂ© « Artiste Ă©toile » du Festival de Lucerne 2003, il est Professeur Ă  la Haute École de Musique de BĂąle.

Born in Bern, Thomas Demenga is an internationally renowned soloist, composer and teacher. He performs with the world’s most renowned musicians and orchestras. Within his work, he seeks to confront different historical eras and styles of interpretation and composition. Improvisation and New Music are also important aspects of his artistic work. Throughout the years, he has developed a unique voice as a composer and interpreter of 20 th and 21st century music. Named "Artiste Étoile" at the Lucerne Festival in 2003, he is currently Professor at the Hochschule fĂŒr Musik in Basel.

MICHAELA FUKAČOVÁ RĂ©publique TchĂšque / Czech Republic Originaire de Brno en TchĂ©quie, Michaela FukačovĂĄ a Ă©tudiĂ© avec Erling BlĂžndal-Bengtson, William Pleeth et Mstislav Rostropovich. Elle est laurĂ©ate de nombreux concours internationaux dont le prestigieux concours TchaĂŻkovski de Moscou en 1986. Depuis lors, elle rĂ©side au Danemark et mĂšne une carriĂšre internationale de soliste et de chambriste, formant un duo fameux avec le grand violoniste tchĂšque Josef Suk. Elle enregistre de nombreux disques, notamment de musique tchĂšque et crĂ©e des concertos contemporains souvent Ă©crits pour elle.

Born in Brno, in Czech Republic, Michaela Fukačová studied with Erling Blþndal-Bengtson, William Pleeth and Mstislav Rostropovich. She is a laureate of many international competitions, including the prestigious Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow in 1986. Since then, she has lived in Denmark and leads an international career as soloist and chamber musician, frequently performing in a duo with legendary Czech violinist Josef Suk. Her wide-ranging discography includes many albums dedicated to Czech music. She regularly premieres contemporary concertos, which are often written for her.
