G. GRIEVANCES All of us are seeking the best for each child. This perspective helps to put problems into a positive framework. If a problem arises, it is imperative for us to work together towards its resolution. Please address a problem as soon as it arises. Matthew 18:15-16

“If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother. But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, that every charge may be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses. ”

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. ” These guidelines are to be followed whenever there is a school improvement idea, dispute, or grievance concerning any aspect of The Terra Nova School's operations, between any two parties connected to the school.

GENERAL GUIDELINES

● It is understood that if any disputes arise which are not covered by this policy, the board will decide what procedures to follow based on a parity of reasoning from those procedures established by this policy. ● It is also understood that, especially during the attempted resolution of concerns, the principles of Matthew 18 and James 3 will be followed. ● Contacting other students, parents, teachers, or administrators to air concerns or accusations is not appropriate as gossip weakens our school and is not part of resolving conflict in a biblical way. ● We will provide a ClassReach form for any ideas or concerns that are general and not involving sin.
