Learn through play with the Parks & Recreation Preschool Program. Your child will spend the day with highly trained and experienced teachers, doing arts & crafts, playing games, and developing fine and gross motor skills. Make new friends, learn routines, explore nature, but most importantly: play while our teachers assist in personal, social, and emotional development! The City of Concord Preschool program was established in 1991 and has served over 6,500 families since its establishment. Some of our teachers have been with the program for over 25 years!

Class Dates and Times September 6, 2022-May 12, 2023 9 a.m.-11:30 a.m. and 12 p.m.-2:30 p.m.

*3-4 year olds must be potty-trained Monthly Fees* 2 day/week: $173R / $203NR 3 day/week: $247R / $277NR 5 day/week: $432R / $462NR

*$125 non-refundable registration fee due prior to enrolling in a class Parents are required to provide a snack monthly for their child’s class.

FUNdamental Drawing

Ages: 4-6 years New year, new art! Young artists will use pencils, crayons and markers to develop their fine motor skills and language. Kick-off the class by drawing a snowman, moving into a firetruck and then finishing it up with an owl. Each week builds on the last as our courses are designed to develop their drawings and use a ton of creativity. No class on February 18, April 1 and 8. Pre Ballet

Ages: 3-5 years Preschool dancers will be inspired with the world of ballet through creative movement and improvisation. Dancers will focus on body positioning, balance and fundamentals of vocabulary. Appropriate attire: ballet shoes, tights or leggings, and leotards. $5 material fee due to instructor on the first day. Zumbini Bilingual Parent and Me

Ages: 6 months-5 years This parent and me class is created by Zumba and BabyFirst for kids, this program combines music, dance, and educational tools for 45 minutes of can't stop, won't stop bonding, learning and fun! This class is bilingual, meaning you will be learning Spanish and having fun with your child. You will be able to create art, and have a Spanish story time. Knowledge of Spanish is not required. $20.00 material fee due on the first day to instructor for art materials and take home Zumbini Bundle. No class March 17 and April 7. All Sorts of Sports After-School Club JR

Ages: 4-6 years Whether your child is a beginner or a more advanced player, this multi-sport camp is the perfect place for kids to be introduced to the world of sports, teamwork, and athletics! Games we play may include basketball, dodgeball, soccer, flag football, capture the flag, ultimate frisbee, relay & obstacle races and a whole lot more! Bump, Set, Spike Grass Volleyball

Ages: 4-6 years Each week players are challenged to do their best while learning passing, serving, and setting. During skill development, drills and small sided competitions and using encouraging reinforcement, our amazing staff brings out a positive change in each player. Ages: 3.5-5 years Little tykes will enjoy running and kicking just like the big kids! Children will have fun and learn the basic techniques of the game while building self-esteem. Children learn to follow instructions in a nurturing, age appropriate environment. All participants receive a Kidz Love Soccer jersey. Shin guards are required after the first meeting. Pre Soccer

Ages: 4-5 years Enjoy running and kicking just like the big kids! Have fun and learn the basic techniques of soccer while building self-esteem and learning to follow instruction in a nurturing teaching environment. In accordance with current health restrictions kids will be playing at a distance from each other and not sharing equipment. Our coaches will bring enough soccer balls for each child to have their own. The focus will be more on skills and individual development as a result of the current accommodations.
